Have been doing alot of homework this time for this build..and had some exellent advise Bulletproof is what im after Jase and 2.1 bar a boost will not be an issue, ive spoken to folk with the same engine end running alot more boost that that so it is tried and tested .. no more shortcutts from here in, also looking at some NOS lol that will come in the summer me thinks..we will see maby sooner

Well was looking at buying another car !! a Newage for my run about, but also wanted to do some new mods on my classic, so after alot of hummming and ariiiiiinnnggg ive decided to sack the newage and spend it all on the Classic.. how selfish i know only doing what it deserves lol I have ran out of steam with the 2.5 SCDB the engine is sound and will be up for sale next month with STi 2 heads fitted to the 2.5 all the work has being carried out by SW Motorsport. Have been speaking to many of the top builders around and all basicly said the best engine to get was the EJ22 closed deck block like hens teeth and bloody expensive just for the shell ....so this is the next stage then stoke the block 2.35 I have new targets that i want to achieve for 2010 and is a 10sec car... 1/4 mile Im also selling a wife and two kids to fund this...lol offers welcolmed hope she doesn't read this.This is what the short engine consists of.. 2.35lt Short Engine Parts: EJ22 closed deck block, stripped, & de-greased Arrow billet crank, low pressure oil feed, Nitrided, Lateral/Wiseco custom 2.35lt pistons, rings & up rated pins Lateral/Crower "H" section stroker rods, Multi layer steel head gaskets, to suit piston kit CR (pair) ACL “Race series” main bearings, phase 2 (set) ACL “Race Series” centre main thrust bearing ACL “Race series” big end bearings (set) Lateral Performance custom intercooler kit (no pipes) all the pipes will be customed made by SW To modify customer supplied 740cc injectors to 1100cc & flow match. So the next month or so is going to be exiting for me anyways oh and the turbo will be going on sale very soon also Garett30/40 i have missed alot of other bits and pieces but the main parts are there ... Dont worry about the horses Kenny you can have as much as you want if you cant get your Launch correct and tyre pressures right all that power sometimes bogs you down can be difficult for the big cars however once full boost diffrent story.. and it's all in good banter

If you are getting bored with it just now, I think all it needs is a few more power gains and that fun factor is back ...keep it you will regret it buy a run around..all the best with your choice.......... defo sell it private.

Try your driveshaft gators incase one may have leaked grease has escaped out.. hense the knocking hope you find the problem not the time to be going under the car in this weather ..

Nice one mate.. it is a special car i have to agree, and its only paint can be returned to it normal colour if you are planning to do so

I agree with the above it's his car let him crack on, if he want it Bright Green, Pink who cares i have seen lots of cars on this website that's not my cup of T.... it's how you put it accross, I get told i have chav light's thats even off my friend's but they drive Nissan Datsuns i mean GTR Skylines but i always say to them get use to it that's all they ever going to see is my rear lights I also agree with people alow to have an oppinion on others cars and most of them are the type to stick an air filter on and a front grill...that's there idea of modding again that's my oppinion Chris..

Not having a good time at all with this car, defo sound's like the waterpump or seal...hope your luck changes soon mate....
