Nice idea, but i can not see anybody attending from "south of the border" obviously depends on how far south, but lets take the "Midlands" central south ...Crail would be around a seven hour trip, then spend the day at Crail and travel another seven hours plus to get home, just a wee bit to much, one would also need to allow for 3 tanks of fuel ..   2. Take somebody with you mate, who has good knowledge, especially when buying a classics with little knowledge, you could get stung really badly ...well worth paying an acquaintance a few quid to come along, may well save you a fortune .. Craig

  11. Cant agree with that Brian, "Import is well best" that is a very subjective topic, there are as many peeps against imports, (if not more) as there is for .. Craig []

  20. Hi mate and welcome [y] ..with a budget of that size you should comfortably be able to afford a mint low mileage classic. Do some reading up and decide on year and type your preference would be, over the years, Subaru brought out many models and it does get rather confusing. Read up as much as you can first, nothing worse than jumping in, then regretting it later due to the fact you have more knowledge and wish you had purchased a different model. I came from a life of "fast ford" cars to the scooby and will never look back ...[y] A good place to look for car sales is on scoobynet, this is a much larger forum (no where near as friendly, but a good place to check for sales) Craig []
