Well if its any help to you, I just bought My MY00 uk Turbo, 7k incl: trade in... and its in very good nick, although If I pressed on I prolly could have got it for less like.... but you live and learn.... oh and that was from Town and County in aberdeen, with a 1 year warranty... which was nice.... Well the events so far announced at RAF Lossiemouth, have had a small charge of somthing like £20-30 TOPS to cover the costs of insurance and ambulance cover etc... I belive the clubs organising the events also must have simelar cover to run these events.... To be fair I dont think that anyone wanting to take part in events like this would have any objections on coughing up a modest fee, to cover costs, and the rest to Santa Cruise.... [] Edit: oh and yeah It requires marshalls too.... they were asking for marshalls in the announcment e-mails too....

You know guys I wouldn't rule out Leuchars, or any RAF base for that matter... for example... We have 2 events coming up now, one is a motorcycle handling day thingy, ie making up a track... and the other... is runway runs... again with the bike club.... and the RAF police will be there with their speed gun.... Going to see if I can get myself along to that.... Mebbe see if i can bring a few freinds.... [] think its like the 15th Oct perhaps....?

If your looking to see a WR1 theres one in Inverness... thats if we can get him out that is... And on the Ale side if things, If its ale your looking at there is a great selection of scottish ones mate, Any of the Isle of Skye ales, or, the Champion Beer of the UK last year I think Was Deuchars IPA, I'm a big fan, and its pretty easy to get a hold of..... but there is LOADs to choose from... If your looking at Leuchars, thats more central, and more likley to get the turnout, and the runways are huge IIRC... and Yeah I suppoes that It wouldn't be out ot the quesrtion to ask, After all its positive publicity for the station, and for us... although theres a good chance that we could be told to GTF! Im sure tho, that if we were to do something like that then We couls perhaps persuade the RAF Police to get a speed gun out.... Either way if your stuck for ideas or for that matter, Airfields.... then PM me... Hey jacob, I see there has been a big response from the central lot, but nothing much from the rest of us further north... as Craig said You are welcome to meet us in Aberdeen, or failing that I'm sure that We could cobble together a Highland meet, assuning that your going to tbe somewhere near Inverness, thats where we normally meet, although the highland division, we are from all about here, as far east as elgin and further north than Inverness, Although I'm not sure where.... So yeah Make sure you say when your heading north, And I'm sure that we could provide you with routes further north from Edinburgh on some interesting roads... [y][] it can be VERY picturesqe the further north you go....

I have Just got rid if the Shed, It was a 1.8GL which is the classic version of the GX..... Very good cars, but not as capable as the turbo models, In fact I drove one of the new age ones quite a while ago and I thoght it was pretty gutless... the handling can be just as great as any scoob, but you notice the difference in straigh line speed and acceleration.... but what You want to look for In my experience is rust, once you get the first bit... I found that it was very bad on the roof, I'm on my second classic, and both have rusty roofs, At least this one is getting done under warranty... nip it in the bud early and you cant go wrong!!!! other than that there is not alot I think that you need to look out for, just stuff that you would look for on any other car, if you can justify it, Get a turbo, if not then you can do worse than to get a GL/GX, best value for money if your going along the non-turbo route, go for the classics, IMHO better value for money... Yeah, Gavin(salesman) Mentioned that he'd heard of the T&C threads on here when I was in yesterday... dont know if he was snifing for info or if he was just passing conversation.... [] But ive said it last night, And I'll say it here again, I have to say Thank you T&C Ive been speaking to Kev so I know whats been done to the car, which I'm VERY happy about, but the best thing: Tracker: £100 off!!! £199 down from £299 so that straight away is I think, proof that the negotiations have been doing their work!!!
