a guy round the corner has just got one. its dark blue. smaller than i thought in the flesh.

i heard loads of bad stuff about these ball bearing tye of boost controllers on the skyline forum. spikes etc....i want good solid boost control. i am not into too much techno as that isnt what i want. i want solid power without having to look at five hundred gauges. my last car was like a bloody curries showroom ! screens and dials everywhere ! so if a dawes devices and a gauge will do then thats great. !!

was offered one from scientific steve. but was wanting an ssqv as they are fully adjustable but too dear.

can you adjust the spring on bailey valves ? do they cause chatter too ?

i wouldnt fit a dawes type device !

digital boost controller like an sbc should be good for limiting boost . gauge isnt necessary .and the type like an avcr have knock sensor capability dont they ??

as above. i want to up the boost a little and need to fit a boost controller. is there anyone in south ayrshire worthy of fitting/selling me one and any for sale ?

i got two for my skyline from an ebay seller. thats all he does and they were £27 delivered for the gear and brake. both italian leather and top quality ! just do a search. the price is the same for the impreza !

this is the kind of thing that also gets good young drivers tugged by the law every 10 mins ! i think that they should do what the irish did some years ago and make the youngsters drive lesser powered cars (with 2 years probation on l plates)and have a curfew at 10pm too unless they have a good reason for being out (ie work etc). this was to try and stop joyriders in belfast but seemed to work in general for peoples safety !

i can get a v 4 type r and its a belter but only 2 doors ! thats the main reason for getting rid of the skyline !

this would happen if the hose popped off the intercooler slightly and is only slightly leaking but under load. check all the jubilees and work your way round !

i had an apexi jasmo onj my skyline and sounded beautiful. there is a scorpion on my scooby and is ggod too !

can a std ecu be remapped ? and to what gains powerwise ?

i blocked of my r33 boost controller and got full boost constantly as it had a 2 stage boost. so basically want more boost as i feel it could be doing with it !(well i want it even if the car doesnt !),.
