I've kinda lost touch with who is who on here.
Blobeye will be finished this year. It's a track toy from there on.
I look forward to seeing it in action

Had some fun in the car today and went to an AutoSolo organised by 63 Car Club, Elgin.
www.63carclub.com
Only found out about it yesterday and glad i did coz I went and came first
Heres a wee vid I put together, I would have had more footage if the go pro didnt run out of battery, thought it was fully charged yesterday but obviously not.

Today was a first for 63 car club and it was a success, there will be more organised so I hope some of you are willing to try it too.

Paypal is probably the best option, sent as a gift, thats what i would use

Man Up and tell the good lady that you wont be selling the scooby. Look for other ways to save money as the car is more than just a car, its a hobby

Looking good mate. What about carbon boot lid?
Might be a possibility in the future paul, i'd change the rear 3 windows to plastic lightweight jobbies before boot lid as that would save me more weight for same money. All in good time
-
Looks better than the standard classic pedals

Good work, every little helps. You joining the fling next weekend?
Cheers lewis, Unfortunately no as I'll be working

Wee update of what Ive been up to this week......
From this:
A lot of swear words in the middle....
To this:
Removed this:
I bought a Q-Max punch for cutting the holes and I have removed as much for now from the drivers door so I still have use of the electric windows.
The crash bar was a complete ballache but thanks to a thread I read on 22b, ARCH had gave advice to someone else on how to remove the bar so I did just that. Thank You Arch if you read this
Anyway to remove bar, cut at the brackets at each side of the bar then use a wire to break through the glue stuff holding the bar to the door skin. I also used a scalpel to aid this. I broke two bits on my dremel, borrowed one form Westra (Cheers Mark), 3 metal cutting discs, scraped knuckles and I then had to cut the bar in half to remove it from my door.
Heres a pic of one of the cuts with the dremel:
I havnt weighed what I have removed yet and I have the other door still to do. My plan is to get the car as light as possible so trimming excess weight here and there is what I have to do.
Couple of pics after my wee run:
All pics taken on phone so not best quality but I know how you all like a few pics anyway

Cracking job on the arches and bumper bar there Rich. Wanna do mine now?
What engine spec are you running? Last I remember was speaking to flash (iain) gordon yonks ago and he reckoned about 350?
Same spec as before, TD05 20G but I'm looking to get that refreshed at some point.
Bumper bar was an easy enough job, I bought replacement plastic clips/screws because you break some of them taking them out. I have access to a blaster so done that then primed and painted it with spray cans, lookin like new again
