  1. dave, sorry to hear its a write off mate, gutted for ya.i'm not going to talk you into buying another scoob as i know myself keeping a classic in good working order can be expensive some times,i run about in a works van all the time so its mostly a weekend toy for me.

I hope some day in the future though youll be back behind the wheel looking over that scoop.

p.s. if Steve cant make any meets /runs /events give me a shout,i'll be happy to give you a lift mate.

  2. Dave don't do it dude i'm sure you can pick up another classic for your budget,or what about talking to the guy who import's them who posts on here, you would get a good car just look at Gus's 555(ex) or Cusco Kid's car,i think you would regret jumping back into a Mondeo.

  4. I have both the CM and RB sig stickers on my car and have no plans to ever remove them from it.

The OP's large rally style stickers I think are maybe slightly on the large size for me to keep on constantly... think for me I'd have kept on smaller ones but ones as large as that I would probably remove in time. Saying that it's entirely up to yourself as to what you put on your car or what you keep on your car.

I would personally keep them on mate

I'm still waiting on delivery of the CM signature one's which i ordered over a week ago(Damn postal strike's)

  5. Dave ignore this to**er, anyone that knows that bend will tell you it's dangerous when wet and the bump halfway round doesn't help.

Who's fixing the car if I may ask?

Frazer it's getting done @ that repair centre up in Lochlands industrial estate.

  6. :D

This is the last thing we need a Sherlock Holmes, whoever you are mate let me tell you i was at the scene of the accident within 10 minutes and the road was still damp and the traffic cop commented that the whole surface of that stretch of road is in need of resurfacing.

As for your comment about the truth coming out both persons who were involved in this accident are part of my family and would not tell any lies about something like this.

I suggest you keep you comments to yourself in future.

  7. Quick question - is a press required for removing and fitting wheel bearings to a newage?

Stephen i fitted front wheel bearing to my last car (not a subaru)and i had to use a press to get them out and for putting the new one's back in,it is possible to do it without one but will take a little more time and effort.

  8. I'm posting this up for my bro inlaw Dtabbitt(Dave) as he came off the M876 tonight towards Larbert he lost the rearend of the car at around 50mph and ended up on the embankment and very lucky to miss the tree as you will see in the picture's,doesn't seem to be to much damage but a closer inspection will tell the truth, anyway he and the missus are away to the hospital for a check up,hope all goes well dave and get back on the road soon :) (BTW The police did say that that part of the road is in need of resurfacing so if anyone is using this road take care)
