De-Tangoed RB320 stick Colin McRae livery on it and call it the CMR320
No seriously, Black Hawkeye STi PPP with every prodrive goodie slapped on it and give it a touch of McRae'ness.. the RB320 is a great machine!
Or go down to the prodrive factory and get them to build me a P2

, i should know as Craig (Seafar 99) "deleted " my resonator box, took about an hour (coz of some sticky bolts),get a nice induction noise now and even a wee "whoosh" from the std .dump valve.
Mark what's the best way to go about this ,is it just removing the box in the inner wing and replacing the cold air feed with another pipe?

Currently looking at brake pads as well.
Been told that Ferodo DS2500 would do the trick. . Alyn at AS Performance phoned me today, £130 delivered for a set..
Was kinda thinking if there are alternatives at a cheaper price ( but still good quality)
Whats the story with these mIntex ones Craig ?
I recently had the rear disc's and pad's replaced the pad's are Mintex not sure what one's but they are leaving a lot of dust on the wheels which i had no problem's with before they were changed.

Either dampness dirt or the fact the airfilter obviously hadn't been changed at the last service
Glad it's running fine again, have you got the centre section de-cat pipe yet?

It was indeed Stevie, too late to wave by the time I noticed you.
Hows the car running. I seem to have sorted my MAF problems.
Yes running fine the now,i read your thread on the MAF it must have just been a bit of dampness that was the problem then?

just an appeal for anyone who can lend me a hand changing the spark plugs on my 00 classic turbo.had a go trying myself but seems too hard,i live in stenhousemuir antonshill area, any help would be greatly appreciated not in a hurry so any date can suit me for anyone.ill leave my mob number not on pc much,07842494682.
thanks again
willie
The easiest way to do it is remove the airbox completely from the driver's side and then remove the water bottle from the other side that will give you access in to remove the plug's and it should only take you an hour.

As you may know I bought Irish Al's WRX and have discovered a problem - it pops and bangs when I change down a gear.
The problem is I keep trying to get the wife's Scenic to do the same, but no matter how hard I kick it's a*** it won't make any noises. Have I got scoobyitis?
Mine's has been doing the same since i stopped using V Power, cant really explain it but it does sound the dog's bit's

lol @ fai
no i managed to get my hands down the small spaces to get at the bolts
I done the driver's side one recently and it only took an hour, remove the airbox and disconnect the coil pack's and it's a piece of cake really, you will get some spillage onto the exhaust manifold when you split the gasket though so mind and clean it up before you box it all up.

Well it wasn't Neil. His Car is black.
And it aint got rally sticker's

Well it tells me 98 on my fuel flap, and I drive a classic, but I believe by law, any uk car must be SAFE to run on normal unleaded... whether it will run like a dog or not... well thats another story...
I was running my 01WRX on V Power until it hit the 106.9 a litre i'm using shell unleaded now and it run's fine.

Thanks for the comments. It is a WRX, not STI, but i like the spoiler and badges. Just got a set of mudflaps in black with the STI logos on them, these will help make the car appear lower i think. The wheels are 18" so probably won't go any bigger.
Recognise that car from Grieve's in Camelon mate
