  13. Thanks for the advice everyone. ARM, look forward to hearing how you get on. Peter, that sounds like a lot of effort for what I thought should be fairly straightforward mod, thats partly why I chose it as my first or is this just the nievety of the novice? Cheers Kevan
  14. Hi Del, thaks for that. Looks like exciting stuff. Would have loved to have made it down but trying to get rid of a weekend shift is like trying to pass on the plague. Heard from two colleagues who were there it was a great event. Cheers Kevan
  15. Thanks for the advice folks, I'll give Scott Lowe a phone tomorrow. Kevan
  16. Hello all, am about to buy first mod for the car. Front splitter in fact and both Revolution and Scott Lowe now have what sounds like the same part for MY2006 WRX, with Revolution being a bit cheaper. Anyone recomend which one to go for, price aside? Revolution also have a lower mesh grille kit but not too sure about it as the web pic isn't that great. Cheers Kevan.
  17. Great pics Del, did you have to get involved (as a steward) when 29's wheel came off? cheers, Kevan
  18. Looking very nice John. Glad the place in Partick worked out for you. I've used them several times for both bike and car plates and always been delighted with the results and yes, nice people too! Cheers Kevan
  19. Hi mate, any garage/specialist will do it. Part is about £5
  20. Thanks st3ph3n, sounds like a good plan. Had a Sport before with the hillholder and kinda miss it.
  21. Hello mate, I too have a Maltese WRX from Motorpoint, just wondered if you have the hill holder clutch system on your car. Mine's doesn't. Also, did I read in another post that despite the 3000,9000,12000 etc service intervals in the service book you are sticking to the British schedule? cheers, Kevan
  22. LOL!!![]
  23. http://usera.imagecave.com/kjk/car/woman-driver-2827.jpg do you think there were a few frosty moments in this houshold? Kevan
  24. well done mate, there's nothing sweeter than getting one over!
  25. I also have a newage and find it is a hit or miss thing to get a wave back wether new age or classic. I wave to all as most "enthusiasts" do I suspect, however when I had a classic Sport, virtually no bugg%r waved, that inmho, is snobbery. We all love these cars which is why this forum exists but to some people they are just cars, hard to believe I know, but true. Just ma 2 bobs worth. Kevan
