Hi all

I have been asked to post up details of the following theft by Duncan at Hypertech, Bonnybridge.

Happened today 10/3/09 during working hours at approx 9:15am.

Blue Classic had the side window put in and a new set of KYB adjustable shocks were taken from the back seat.....

Duncan was alerted in time to see the car drive of....it is very distinctive Fiat Punto with 2 Green doors and a Purple Bonnet.

If anyone knows of this car from around the Falkirk, Central region and can pass any registration details to Duncan it would be much appreciated...

Obviously if anyone is offered a set of KYB shocks for sale for a classic BE AWARE...

thanks

If he saw the car drive off why not follow it while calling the police??

if he's just come out the workshop and seen them he would have had to go back inside and get car keys then try and dig his car out as there are usually cars lying everywhere, and thats assuming alex wasnt out with the car at the time....

low life scum of the earth hopefully the fact that they have used probably one of the most distinctive puntos in the area as their getaway someone will sneak up behind them and kick their low life a***s for them! Makes my blood boil so it does! will keep an eye out for the car anyway case it heads over my way!

I have saw that blooming car down the Valley area of Stenhousemuir and over in Camelon. Both times it was being driven by a burd. But I have asked a few of the mates round there to keep an ear open. (there off the travelers)

was speaking to dunc tonight, from what i gather he didnt see them drive away, it was more that they had noticed them sitting in the car in the morning but assumed they were there to pick up someone dropping off a car and its been opportunistic, either way its crap, as is the fact that they reported it to the police about 11am and by 7pm the police still hadnt been up............

I was driving between East Whitburn & Bathgate today when I noticed a VERY similar car heading in the opposite direction. I managed to get turned round at the next roundabout & catch up with it in Whitburn. I phoned Duncan @ Hypertech & gave him the reg. number (W-reggie) and a description of the OAP driver.

Duncan seemed very confident this was the car so hopefully he'll pass the details onto the rozzers and they'll catch up with the miscreants.
