Aye, same here, 27 with 5years NCB (several years driving fathers car on his insurance)
and Yeah, think its less than £500 (mebbe <£600)...  but really cant remember...

Oh, and thats with a (short) ban... which, come to think about it, I only have to declare for the next year or so... Winner... Even cheaper!

Just sorting out my renewal just now, been quoted £630 from Tesco for my05 WRX 300. Im 28, 5yrs NCB, 11 years experience and living out in the sticks (past Banchory), and protecting my no claims too. As a note of interest I tried Kieth Michaels after reading about them on here and they wouldnt even quote me!

 Insurance companies should not tarnish all young drivers with Subarus with the same brush - not all of them are wee ned racers. There will be some proper enthusiasts out there who are paying for some proper wa*kers racing and careless driving. On the same note you see more modded ned-mobiles crashed and written off as Imprezas.
