st3ph3n Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Wireless-Ti...82252QQtcZphoto I know I get a bit of a slagging for my plentiful supply of gauges and displays when everything's armed, although I think drb5 probably would out do me, but surely that one takes some beating!
chris_c201 Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Is the purpose of these not for "run-flat" tyres though.... guess if you (for some bizarre reason) want to spend a fortune on new run flat tyres some monitoring system is needed.... (or if your after having more guages than anyone else!)
st3ph3n Posted March 14, 2007 Author Posted March 14, 2007 With Bridgestone Potenzas you don't need run flat technology. The sidewalls are harder than the solving the square root of 63 billion using only your fingers and toes.
chris_c201 Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Lol.... so maybe you should have this guage so you know when there is a problem!! Answer is 250998.02, thankfully i have mutant hands and feet so was easily able to complete your challenge..... []
nanaki Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 they arn't as much fun as they look. you need to get the wheel balanced properly as they are mounted inside the tyre. also they may be good for detecting slow punctures and a quick check of the preassure but if you get a blow out then you will crush the sensor inside the tyre and rim which means your fancy equipment is now useless.
