drb5 Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 Thought i may as well stick this up, as there isn't much here in the way of "projects" apart from KennyS. and maybe Playsatan if he get's his camera out. [] Bought this yesterday for £100. Was pleasantly shocked at how little rust was under the car, but i've still to strip the interior out it, so see how bad it is under the sodden wet floor carpet. Still to sell my current Scoob, before i can REALLY get started on it, but i have a spare 1k miles old 2.5 block here in need of some attention and loads of ideas. [] I'll keep the thread updated as much as i can. Let the good times begin! [H]

Lol, got some of the exact same wheels sitting here, so no need to spend money there, just yet. Cheers guys. Have already started the project and repaired the tailgate. [] Jamie, no timescale as yet, as it's just something to keep me occupied. I'm moving sometime soon, to a new flat which is a 5 minute walk from work, so it won't be as though i need a car to get to work. [] This way, i can bide my time on SNET, Ebay and NASIOC for gucci parts. [H] Already bagged another bargain this morning on Ebay.... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...p;rd=1&rd=1

RS Grant Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 I had the exact same idea when I saw that car for sale Dave.... I only lacked the mechanical facilities, storage space, enthusiasm, the short block, the mechanical knowledge, the spare cash and the time. But if I'd had those things, I'd have snapped this up!! [][] Will follow this with interest/envy.... I do like a good project thread!! [H] Cheers, Grant
