Buy the 4 and the 2. That gives you 6. Use the 5 required and save the 1 left over for topups! []

st3ph3n Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 I thought the scoob only needed 4 litres anyway.
colin_ross Posted January 10, 2007 Posted January 10, 2007 More like 4.5 or 6.5 if you have a winged sump. I'd buy two 4 ltrs myself. It'll get used at some point, you're next change for example and will be cheaper than buying it in diddy sized bottles.

Like Colin says though, the spare stuff will always get used up.

Imy's and my car are due a change soon
colin_ross Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 Funny enough could be doing with some myself. Will get prices and post up to see if anyone's interested.
jodie typeRA Posted January 11, 2007 Author Posted January 11, 2007 Jodie, where are you getting the oil from? not sure yet mate the closer to my house the better so i can go collect it i hear what you are all saying about getting the 6ltr and iff i have to i will get it[Y]
harvey_smith Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 I get my Motul from Alyn at AS Performance by post next day and his prices are always very good. With an oil and filter change, you will use around 4.5 litres plus and you may need some until the next change, typically .5 to 1 litre on a standard car so stop being tight.
harvey_smith Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 BTW. Consider 10/40 for winter use and on a New Age, even 5/40 or 5/30.
