Absolutely superb!!!

Congratulations to all who organised it and all who took part!

Wished I could have been there, but unfortunately now 6 weeks without a car, and no sign of it on the horizon.

Will definitely be involved next year!!!

[Y]

sums it up nicely and shows that Santa's way of getting around delivering presents is the scooby [au]

a massive well done to everyone that contributed to such a heartwarming, successful event [;)]

Thanks guys. [:P] Just wanted to do my little thanks to those who put in so much effort into making these things happen (the alternative was going Xmas shopping - blech!) - plus when a newcomer asks what this Santa Cruise stuff is all about we can now just point them to that - though they may struggle with having Pachabel as a soundtrack [;)]

For the Aberdeen guys, although yours wasn't "officially" a Santa Cruise, it doesn't matter. I included a pic of what you did for that lad. One person or a hundred people, it doesn't make any odds - you still made a difference [:P]

Oh - I think I managed to credit everybody I took photos from. If I missed anybody, let me know and I'll correct it.

Great Andy!!!!!!!!!!!!! As stated it's 1st class.

Hopefully in years to come I will have a scooby instead of a Vauxhall LOL.

anyone wanna donate an automatic scooby to me [;)]

Makes me proud to be part of the Scottish Scoobies

excellent piece of work there mate. good choice of music as well.

It just helps to sum up all the hard work put in by so many this year to make the santa cruise the success it is now.

Long may it continue.

That would bring a tear to a glass eye. Fantastic. It certainly had my spine tingling. Sorry I couldn't make it but the kids looked happy which is the main thing.

Well done Andy.

This appears to have backfired somewhat. I never wanted any thanks or credit for this. I did it to recognise the achievements of all those who made it happen in the first place. Without those who gave up serious amounts of their time and put in hours of effort there would have been no Santa Cruises and no photos for me to create this. I just joined the photos together and stuck some music to them. Thank them, but please don't thank me.

Whether you think it backfired or not Andy isn't the point here. Yes, a lot of effort was put into the cruises etc. (and lots more from me and Fab1 next time around I may add). But the pictures you 'stuck together' and put a 'bit of music' to, meant just a shade more to people than you think. What YOU (yes YOUR effort) above and beyond what you did in the background to help - by creating the above movie was unbelievably heart warming.

Me and Fab1 having an 18 month old, who's Christmas this year will be SO special, openly wept last night after watching the clip you created as not only being quite the masterpiece it is, the way you compiled it summed it up for a lot of folks as to the special meaning Christmas is for the kids.

I think all the praise you are receiving and probably will still receive, is merely our thanks to your effort at reminding us with such a beautiful compilation what happened due to the cruises, and how many people were much happier for doing so.

The look on the wee girls face looking up at Santa was truly emotional.

Thanks again. Alan,Jen and wee Hollie.

Of to watch it again.[:)

Being the person who started santa cruise 3 years ago,i have watched this 3 times now.How you could think that it has backfired is beyond me.This shows us what santa cruise is all about, bringing happiness to sick children at christmas.

It is a fantastic video and i hope that you will continue to compile them for many santa cruises to come.

I would also like to thank Scottish Scoobies members for their outstanding efforts in making this years santa cruise such a success.

A merry Christmas and happy new year to you all.

Thanks Guys. I said that because I thought some of the replies (unintentionally) were geared a bit more towards the photo-vid thing than towards the REAL people behind the whole Santa Cruise thing. I didn't want to be seen to be taking any credit from what they had achieved as they were the real workers behind it.

Anyway, if you liked the soundtrack to the Photo vid thing, I came across this tonight. Same band - the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, but sounds so much better and more their "style".A band well worh checking out IMO.

- Well worth it as Jennifer Cella is hawt [:D]

and for the sloppy gits like me who want to see the orginal version...
