jcscoob Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 Craig the AEM stuff looks well made and looks sound, also gets the fillter right down in the cold area, if i had a newage thats wot i would have went for, at the right price go for it. []

fai17 Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 How much for the AEM filter...it's made in the US of Gay i think?
westtra Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 Have seent the AEM on other cars and its a good piece of kit. Also with it being so low to the ground puddles can be a problem but some have a valve in the intake to attempt to stop you drawing in water if you accidently go through a nice deep puddle. edit http://www.aemintakes.com/ViewCategory.aspx?CategoryID=20 the valve to stop water ingress
Boyakasha Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 Craig just watch which size you go for, the 65mm can go straight on but the 70mm means that you have to calibrate the MAF sensor.

Andy UK300 Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 65mm you can use the standard MAF, the 70mm will need a re-map of your ecu, so best check whats coming!

Mark, Are you saying, with the 65mm you don't need a remap? If so that would be ideal cause I don't have enough pennies for that at the moment. Cheers Allan
Fonzy Posted October 28, 2006 Posted October 28, 2006 Interesting, anyone else fitted the 65mm APS one without a remap?
