col666 Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 A friend of mine is looking for a winter toy while his exotica is stored in his garage. He offered me some cash for mine tonight out of the blue but i am torn whether to sell it nor not. I have had no end of problems with it and havent enjoyed ownership since i bought it. It has been a complete moneypit with no fun in return, although with another bit of cash and time spent on it 'it wil be running sweet. Its worth more to me than anybody else due to the money i have spent on it but to be honest I cant justify owning it and is bleeding me dry.[] What I want to know is, how much would you pay for my car? MY99 STI 5, Type r, new engine 5k ago, tein suspension, usual refinements. 61k miles. Dont be shy, i wont be offended! just want honest replies! Col.

craig mac Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Ok feel a bit guilty now []Baaaaaahhh £3500 plus a new memory card and an ex BT diesel Van []
paddy247 Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Theres one on pistonheads for £8700 and it hasnt sold at that. Granted it may a totall bucket upon close inspection, where your car is mint apart from yer wheel bearings and a few probs you have had with your geometry at a certain tyre firm. The engine leting go not long after you bought it, that was just bad luck. Anyway its fixed now and runs sweet as a nut[] So id say the car is worth more to you, so lay low over the winter, get the nigles fixed and prepare to have a blast at the first light of summer.[]
