mctwistuk Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 I am starting to save money for getting my car remapped next year once the warranty is up. Am thnking about getting a scoobyworld ninja sport cat downpipe and then that should be all the mods i want to do before the remap. What do i need to buy for the remap and what do i need to do to the car? Running a standard WRX 03 blobeye. need to make sure i have saved enough money and got all the right bits before i set off to see the master Andy F.
frank c Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 The best advice i could give is to E-mail Andy and tell him what your wanting from the car.. HTH's Frank
higgy Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 Dont bother with the sport cat as it will be the limeting thing on how agresive your car can be maped. And it will be monet wasted as you will get the bug and you will then be after a decated down pipe, so be wise and get a decat downpipe from the start ant that way you will also produce more power. mctwistuk Posted October 18, 2006 Author Posted October 18, 2006 dont want the hassle of having to change the dwonpipe for mot etc. there is little difference from what i have read in terms of power with the sportcat. i might be worn in that.
RA Dunk Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 go for a 3" exhaust, dont bother with a 2.5" as you`ll probably regret it later on []

kevin_rhind Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 Do all your mods before you remap it or you'll be wasting money. If your just doing a downpipe don't expect too much but it will make a difference![]
st3ph3n Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 Surely a 3" exhuast might be counter productive on a standard (03/04?) WRX with a TDO4?
mctwistuk Posted October 19, 2006 Author Posted October 19, 2006 i have replaced the backbox and centre section and fitted a decat pipe already so dont really want to have to replace them again.
