M8JOF1
Getting the scoob fitted with a big fuel pump on Wednesday and also will be getting it remapped on the original ecu. Can someone tell me where to get the software to do this. I have read a million places that this can be done but how? Link to comment
dipsy
Ecutek website or Send Andy F an email .Hes the master ecu remapper.Go and book your car in for Andy f remap Link to comment
G.Mac
Andy Forrest is your man for this, the Ecutek is £500 + vat. You may wish to do some other mods before you get it mapped such as exhaust and induction kit to make the most of the mapping session. If your just getting an uprated fuel pump you wont need to get it mapped. I think Andy Forrests website is www.andyforrestperformance.co.uk Graeme Link to comment

M8JOF1
Well it just so happens that there is another man about town who maps ecus extremelly well for all jap cars he runs a GT4 and the GT4 website almost . Ill be his first scoob to go under the knife but the guys so clued up on everything motor Im putting all my faith in him. This should be interesting cos if hes good it sounds like SIDC may be putting work his way. 500 hundred nicker is alot of cash for a remap Im sure all would agree but AF is the man no denying that. Does this lad give away the ecutek licence for nothing then? Remember the flat 4 Scoob is a very different monster, Just be careful m8[] 500 is yes, But a lot of that is made up from the purchase of the Ecutek Licence itself, its then a couple of hundred each map after that, So costs aint as bad when you look at it like that It will take a LOT to get the SIDC folks to go anywhere othere than Andy for Ecutek remapping[] IMHO CraiG Link to comment

st3ph3n
Is it an ECUTEK reflash that's getting done, or are you replacing the ECU with something different like the apexi power fc? Link to comment
jodie typeRA
not been yet but when i do my car will be going to god (andy f) all you need to do is read thorugh the SIDC forums same name keeps popping up andy f Link to comment
ANDYJDMSTI
if hes good it sounds like SIDC may be putting work his way. That may happen if he does it for free and gets a fluffer to fluff you at the same time. Until that happens then my money and probably most peoples on here who have done so already will be sticking with the tried and tested methods of Mr F. Good luck, hope you get what you expect. the squiggle
Mapping a Scoob is different from mapping any other Jap engine If you are willing to let this unnamed mapper learn how to map a scoob on your car then best of luck to you Link to comment

braveheart
Hey mate, another place to take the car is Dastek Ltd in Dalgety bay have taken my car there and had exellent results also very good customer service and talk to you through everything what they are doing to your car. M8JOF1
Aye you may have a point Dan. Anywho after much investigating it seems because the standard ecu in the MY00 needs either a Subaru dealer or the ecutek software to map it(which can only be obtained from an authorised dealer) my idea has been hit oan the heed cos it involves stealin it from somebudy. Goin through to Dastek on the 29th of the month for a rollin road day and the initial stage of the map(hopefully). End of that story. Link to comment
wrxmania
Do Dastek Map ECUTEK - I thought they only done UNICHIP, which is a piggy back? Dastek are very good though. Link to comment
M8JOF1
Good point well made, you are right they dont do ecutek it is the piggyback method. Is this still ok, decent results? Link to comment
wrxmania
Not sure if it will be any cheaper but I'd imagine an ECUTEK remap would allow the mapper more control than a piggyback? Jamie HI SOOB had a Unichip on his Bugeye WRX - he will be able to say more [] Brian [] Link to comment
