Hi, i came down from orkney to look at a car which they were going to hold for me when i got there they had sold it, i wasnt very happy to say the least!!!!!!!! I had a look at the rest of the cars seeing i had went all that distance and thot they looked good in the pictures but up close they there very rough for the money they were asking for them, but thats just my opinion.

If you want a wider reaction, try doing a search on Scoobynet for them.. In fact, I think that if you Google their name you'll see lots of reviews of their 'quality cars' and customer 'service' they provide. Steer WELL clear mate.

I travelled down also to look at a car and i confirmed prices also before getting there, when i got there the car was not as it was described as it had been covered in paint stripper at the rear of the car and the patch up job was poor and they wanted more money than agreed.

A lot of the cars seem  have a lot of  obvious repairs or broken parts from  transportation.

But dont just take my word, i am just putting in my tuppence worth.

oops, edited - i'm talking about Torque of Keighley here [:$]

Squirrel and I also popped into their place when we were travelling across England and Wales looking for my scooby.

Lots of high performance, modified import cars of various marques, but

it was clear they havent been mechanically checked or even

washed/valeted since they came off the boat (some of the cars they had

were really rough).

The chaps were friendly enough, gave us directions to their place and

were happy to let us have a nosey in and around the car, showing us the

import documentation/auction sheets etc but it was clear that they were

looking for a quick turnaround in sales.

TBH, they did do all the SVA stuff and offered a portable

warranty that could get transferred to somewhere local to you if things

went wrong but I got the feeling that repeat customer service wasnt a

high priority.

I contacted them about a car the other week and was most unimpressed by the chap i spoke to. Most unwilling and uncoperative person ive ever spoken to. Whan i asked him about the car he seemed to know nothing and wasnt willing to find anything about it. All he had to say was check the website as its on there [:@]

Needless to say i promptly put the phone down and declared theyre getting no trade from me.

Happy hunting m8 but steer clear of them.

Avoid them like the plague

My mate who used to have a body shop down in Bradford could tell you a few stories about them....

All theyre really interested in is folk to buy their cars on finance

The cars are generally pretty rough

You'll find a lot better else where

Bought my motor from there. To be honest from what Ive heard from others ive been lucky with my motor.

However the aftersales was shocking and the warranty that i took an extended 6 months on wasn't worth the paper it was written on (I had to use trading standards to get the warranty cover increased to an acceptable level.)

These are my personal opinions from my experience with K-T-C.  PM if you want anymore info on them mate.
