Next time I see one of the road as might be less " feart". In fairness, the Evo boys were packing a fair punch. Still glad the Macca "owned" them though

WTF are those transmission losses all about?  Craig, could you do me a favour and tell me if you're transmission losses from yesterday are roughly the same as the Dastek ones.  More than afew peeps have been quoted at 30bhp and it seems very, very low.

Oh yeah, I'd luv to kick some evo a$$ next weekend but I'm working. Next time.

Dastek 381.9 BHP @ F/W and 347.1 BHP @ Wheels 35 BHP Loss Through Transmition

Japerformance Today 370.7 BHP @ F/W and 294.0 @ Wheels 76.7 BHP Loss Transmition

Strange but true...................So as previously stated all rollers seem to give different readings [:(]

I am going along to Wallace Performance this week to run on there dyno thanks to Russs just to compare yet another set.

I will be sure to post these readings too.

Craig

You may find that yesterday the cars were run in 3rd, so less transmission loss.

Also explains why some cars didn't achieve the boost people expected.

Dyno dynamics transmission losses certainly hit the other extreme though!

I've got a device which calculates G-Force and 0-60 times using accelerometers. It will tell you WHP. Anyone's more than welcome to have a shot of it if they can make the sucker mount stick to their window. Just needs to be plugged into the Ciggy socket.

Not sure how accurate the readings are of course, but the RPM calibration and 0-60 times are pretty accurate.
