[y] I know there are already SIDC brollies, but I was thinking specifically scottish scoobies gear....ie bigger umbreallas..[] but hats would be a hit...although not the cheap itchy ones...[:'(] Link to comment
micra_wrc Posted August 12, 2006 Author Share Posted August 12, 2006 ok - some good suggestions but would like some input from everyone...... 1 - hats fleece hats may be a possibility but: a) would you like your name on it and if so, where is the best place to put it (front or back)? would it look daft with both SIDC and Scottish Scoobies logos on them? (I cant really have SS logo without displaying the SIDC one too tho I can ask Phil if I can just put SS on it cos a hat is too wee for both) 2 - kids clothes a) t-shirts - will one style be ok for girls and boys? jumpers - i can either do a "pull over the head hoodie" similar to the existing Fruit of the Loom one or a "full zip fleece with no hood". Which one will be more durable/worn more often? the hoodie goes as far as age 5/6 but the fleece can come for age 3/4. c) would you like their names on the clothes? help, its not easy expanding the clothing line to suit everyone [8-)] Link to comment
thefastone Posted August 12, 2006 Share Posted August 12, 2006 Em, Cant really coment on the Kiddys stuff, as I'm not really that way Inclined... ? but the Hat thing, 2 Logos, I think is do-able... but you would have one logo on the front one on the back (and the wearer can decide which way they wear it), as per most of the rest of the stuff.... As for names, I wouldn't know, I think that they would look just fine without on a hat, as to be honest, I think, that the graphics and text would be so small due to the nature of the beast, that omitting the name might be the best thing.... weve still got names on other stuff... another thought too is that You can have a ready stock of the hats too... ie no waiting time.... just thoughts like.... micra_wrc Posted August 13, 2006 Author Share Posted August 13, 2006 Duncan, I'm looking at T-shirts and they start from age 1/2 so that should be cool for BabyBadger. I'll investigate if the fleeces can come smaller than age 3/4 St3ph3n, not sure if I can get pit crew style tops as they are a bit specialist and my supplier may not stock them. I'll investigate for you though [] also ice scrapers will probably be sticker-type branding and my chappy uses embroidery machines so doubt I can do them. Might be best to follow this up with Phil and see if the SIDC shop can do them Link to comment

Would like names - though they are still deciding what! Hats are cool. Not into baseball caps so fleece hat would be cool. I would go for SS logo front and SIDC with forum name on back Depending how it looked with the size of the hat. micra_wrc Posted August 23, 2006 Author Share Posted August 23, 2006 gogsie, I want quality over colour on kids clothes so no pink I'm afraid [] i've spotted some Fruit of the Loom kids t-shirts, fleeces and hoodies but they are limited in colour (blue, navy or white). the closest I can do is get your girls names in pink and I reckon it will look nice on white tops cos the script round the SS logo on the back can come in pink. Going to see my clothing chap on Saturday to get a feel for how they are. If they are poo, I'll look into other brands and will check if they come in pink [] Link to comment

micra_wrc Posted September 20, 2006 Author Share Posted September 20, 2006 will do clothing chap was too busy preparing stuff for the start of the new school year to stitch up my samples but am hoping to get the samples soon. the 1st batch of hats were v. poor - not fleecy or warm enough to take our windy winters so I've tasked him to source me proper hats even i'm getting tired of how long this has taken - i've lost my subscription to the file download place cos my account has been inactive lol Link to comment

I've got some fresh new pictures taken with models..... craig mac modelling the blue polo shirt bandit in a "hoff pose" sporting the hoody kids t-shirts kids hoodies kids fleece - these are soo cute [] group pic thanks to Peter for letting me use his beautiful kids as models [Y] jc - I touch goats re best way of getting wee JC's fleece to you I'll probably be ready to take orders in 2 weeks - need to update my catalogue first Link to comment
