Pete if you are gona do the job then do the job, i couldnt give two sh!ts who does it just as long as it gets done, as love my car and every thing that goes with it, and i would be about 90 and decrepit waiting on you, witch is something im not going to do  !

And as for the last two years , you've not done nearly enough.

The whole tayside/angus scooby scene has went to the gutter, i know there a few of us wanting a bit more out of our club than wot you were putting in !

John, your absolutely correct, its not your place to say.and there is no meed for me to justify myself to you.

However as you feel the need to make an issue of it on a public forum, lets cover the bases.

I think if you were to remove your head from your buttox for long enough to do your research prior to opening the hole in your face and spewing crud, you`d find that there is more to being an RO than trying to arrange one or two runs. Do your homework my friend. There are a number of events in the history of the Scottish scooby scene which I can proudly say would never have happened if it weren`t for myself and a select few others (i.e. Dougster, Mako, JohnS and a few who are no longer in the club).

Granted these events have been spread over the last eight years or so and in surges. What i can tell you though is that anyone who attended any of the events, be they last year or eight years ago they will all remember them, They are not flash in the pan a run here / a meet there.

Recently and being specific over the last 11 months I have not had as much time as I would have liked to allocate to the club Any time I have posted up events i.e marshalling / trackdays / annual scottish meets the response rate quite frankly has been less than impressive. There are still a hardcore of "the original members" who are even still in regular contact with myself and still enjoying the events which are being arranged. However when multiple posts are sent requesting contact details and the information is not forthcomming or when I call people and they dont return the call, then my hands are pretty much tied.

My details have been available for all to see / contact from day one. Hence why I am dissapointed to read the above. Perhaps the concept of discussion being a two way process has been lost. If there was unrest brewing and I was aware of it,  This post would never have occured..

I`m sure the right thing for the club will be done in the end []

Re the "Sorry if i have offended " no offence taken, what I would suggest though is that more thought is given to posts before you type them, as someone else might have taken umbridge to the post if they didnt know you were harmless.

Pete i realise and respect wot you have done for our area in the past and take my hat of to you.

But this is now, and i dont want to step on your toes, but this area needs an RO and if you are gona do it do it. What do you want us to do ... wait on your return ?

As i said Pete i couldnt give a flyin f*** who does the job, just as long as it gets done !

As stated at this moment in time i really dont have the free time I`d like to allocate to the club and as such it would be in the best interests of the club for me to step down and make way for someone with free time. Which is what I have done. Lets just hope that this situation does not recurr in future due to further lack of communication.
