JohnSt Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 How many of us have front mount intercoolers ? Most of the serious cars in Ecosse from what I see recently. Last weekend I picked up the very thing to set it off right, and make it work right. Reducing the air pressure behind the Rads (rather than increasing with a bonnet scoop), getting the airflow throught the intercooler and Rad. And it looks great....pics to follow. ---john---
RA Dunk Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 get some pics up john im getting a front mount soon and a wee bit lost by yer post
JohnSt Posted August 4, 2006 Author Posted August 4, 2006 Sorry, didn't mean to make the post sinister, New bonnet, that's all, but one that works right with a FMIC, rather than hampering it. (Oh did I mention it's light ?) ---john---
flat4phil Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Come on any ideas what it's going to be - I'm intrigued too? Perhaps a new type of updraft vent for wisking the hot air away, ala Evo? Or slam panel plate? I'm on the edge of my seat here!
jcscoob Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Aaghhh, eh carbon with no scoops and lifted at the hinge side ???? C,mon .... need to know . []

JohnSt Posted August 4, 2006 Author Posted August 4, 2006 Thank you for the kind comments, Rab (been watching your posts, when you learn to Spell subaru come and critisize, Z1000, but then what would you know [:|] ) it's (very) proffessionally made. I'm 'very' pleased with it, second Scottish scooby to do a 10sec 1/4 mile, on the day I fitted it. (not that I'm a fan of drag racing, but most of you seem to be), Fibreglass this one, as I tend to compete and therefore bend things, can be made from carbon though ---john---
RA Dunk Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 John that looks totaly mental [6][] so wots it made of ? i think it`s fiber glass jon . but im not 100% sure
st3ph3n Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 I think more of us are impressed with the technology behind it and how it can be applied to our own cars John. Or that the men behind it are the same people we can use to tune our own cars. Andy's car and his mapping on yours do much more than any advert ever could. Plus we know you can turn a corner nicely too.
the squiggle Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Very similar to mine, will post a picture of the vent Real Sports is the make of mine and made from GRP, Japan only item as far as i am aware Congrats on the 10sec run
JohnSt Posted August 4, 2006 Author Posted August 4, 2006 Thanks Stephen, Cheers Grant would like to see a pic of yours to see how it compares, these (are/will) be made here. Quite enjoyed TOTB, made a nice change. Enjoyed whupping some seriously trick kit on the handling circuit, but some of the straightline cars are awesome for what they are made for, Andy, of course topping the lot in the performance stakes. ---john---
