st3ph3n Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 It was on Europsort. It was a bit weak for my liking. A wee boy with a remote control driving it around a black volcanic wasteland thing. Wasn't selling it to me at all. No arse out power slides or loud burble, just a wee classical soundtrack. They should just bring a camera to a Glasgow meet and follow us on an ally-b led run. Then film all the faces with huge cheesey grins on when we reach the stopping point. "Subaru: for big children everywhere."
4Hero Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 not seen it yet Stephen, but I was speaking to one of the guys from Subaru in Falkirk and he was saying they are going to start advertising on council tv too []
gus the bus Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 I heard the very same thing! Think Subaru are finding it hard to shift the new cars tbh[]........even with the extensive offers they are attaching to them.
thefastone Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 To be fair, can you blame them, I'm not really a fan of the really new cars, at the very least I dont find them as offensive (sorry guys) as the Bugeyes, but after getting rid of the Classics and the bugeye abortion, I was really liking the Blobeye... [:|]

[:|] how can you not like this mate [] Not mine unfortunately (yet) Don't get me wrong, I love the classic's and the blobeyes (sorry buggies) but after a few months of being unsure of the hawkeye, I now droooool... Just look at it more, set it as your desktop, print one for your wallet and you'll love it []

4Hero Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 the dark headlights are smart, only one problem (quote the owner) "I got the lighter smoke on the headlights hoping not to affect the light intensity much... unfortunately it really took a LOT away, so much that I thought it wasn't safe driving in dark areas" but it does look the dogs danglies []
ian_rowburrey Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Pity everyone would think u'd bought a seat leon ! It does look a little like a Seat or a Daewoo even; if your rub you left eye with an onion and squint. And the MR2 looks a bit like a Ferrari if you do the same, but it doesnt make it a Ferrari! Its still a 4WD 2.5 turbo scooby with more speed and power than any Seat or Daewoo driver has ever experienced in their el cheepo cars!!!
