jimmyGforce Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Hey. I decided to insure all my mods (for once) [:$] My company the now were cool about it, FMIC-Filter-Exhaust. Although explaining what a FMIC was,was a nightmare. My renewal was though a bit more expensive than i wanted so tried another online. Never had option of FMIC on list so i tried a 20% power increase as the worse one. Quote was cheaper so i phoned them up.............................big mistake. 10mins of explaining what a FMIC is and he comes back, confused, saying he cant cover me!! They need to get someone who knows a bit about cars!! Also i was thinking they may aswell have had a call center in India, as you'd think i was speaking a foreign language to the English dude. Sorry, but just needed a rant [:@]
thewelsho Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Quote Sorry, but just needed a rant [:@] Aye, get it aff yer chist mate!

sheep Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 My cars running fine brian, i just wondered how your car was after the remap? I am hopefully going to get mine done soon.
darryl_martin Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 Has the bloke at the insurance company ever thought he may be in the wrong job!!!!!!!! Had one once where I actually went out side and read off the back of the car, "subaru impreza 2000 awd". I had explained it was a subaru, an impreza, a uk car, a turbo with 4wd, but also known as awd. Woman reckoned she'd never heard of it and I had to be more specific!!!!!!!!!! I hung up. Should have mentioned a FMIC, just for the hell of it, would probably have finished her off lol
jimmyGforce Posted July 5, 2006 Author Posted July 5, 2006 Remap went well. Cant say anythin bad about it. running 1.4 bar now so feels better [6] Seems neverending though eh? Now i'm thinkin again that i'm only a few grand away from more power []
sheep Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 Keep a look out on the events section at the top of the page for the next central meet and get yourself along.
