wilky
Took the Millenium falcon out for a shakedown on my private road this evening after fitting new front pads. In the end I bought a grinder as I will use it again and the door bars are looking surplus to requirement. I have managed to take 40kg off the already lightweight vehicle. I never thought it would make a noticeable difference, but it does. I also tried flat shifting and it is harder than you would think!! Its hard to get out the habit of lifting as you change and I missed 5th at one point. However when you get it right it makes a hell of a difference. New tyres are on the shopping list well. I may go for R888 as my road set. See yous tomorrow at KH if you are going. Callum W Link to comment

st3ph3n
CF bonnet and boot is surely a good idea for weight saving. Costly maybe. Link to comment
wilky
CF bonnet is much heavier than an early RAs aluminium one. And a carbon boot is the same weight as a normal boot so may as well cut the gutsout of a standard one. Link to comment
