sharon_mccall
This morning i was astonished that in one 60mph section of road we only managed to reach 36mph![sn] What the feck is that all about? On the way back i was behind a woman who did 40mph in the 60, 40mph in the 30 and to top that she did 40mph in the 20.[] right in front of the school. I am assuming she maintained this limit cos i slowed right down and it took me a fair bit to catch her after we entered the 60. So i overtook her, cos she was only doing 40. As i entered the 30 zone i was driving at 30 and when i looked in my mirror, she was sitting right up my @ss.[:|] LOL........this is music to my ears. Bring it on....sit as close as you like............... I slowed to 28. She wasn't a happy bunny. TOUGH! So i don't know what the point of this little story is, but i do know that sitting at 36mph in a 60mph limit and at 40mph all the time, is bloody frustrating, if not somewhat dangerous! RA Dunk
i know the type you mean shaz not an old lady or an old man by any chance was it Link to comment
st3ph3n
You are now entering the oblivious zone. They haven't a clue what the speed limit is or what the road conditions allow, they just pick their comfort level and drive at it. They're not serial speeders like some people, they're just driving on complete auto pilot. You see them everywhere. They'll be damned if they pull in a bit to let you pass on an A or B road of course. Swines. Link to comment
sandyRS16i
think we all know what you mean, the old 40mph driver, oblivious to the speed ratings of the road they are on and the fact the car has the ability to change gear when in motion!!! They pi$$ you of by going slow in the 60 bit then always have the cheek to look frustrated and try to enter your @ss in a 20/30 zone. I find its a good idea to slow down as much as possible when you eventually get in fornt of them, i find that burbbling along in 4th at 20 in a 30 or 40 gets right on their tits.........then show them how the 60 is meant to be driven when you hit it!!!!!haha Link to comment
oz *sti*
yep, crazy dangerous driving people have to remember there is such thing as going to slow, no need for it [:@] I like your thoughts sandyrs16i I like it [Y] Link to comment
Guest AlanK
I LOVE slowing right down in villages etc and then letting all the tits pileup behind me cause they aint got the wits to slow down to the speed limit in the places most likely to have a speed trap. Then booting it when you hit the N.S. sign- Been doing that for ages and now I have a Scooby gonna enjoy it even more!! Will slow down even more if someone is on my ass as others have mentioned. Fee
You actually fail your driving test for driving too slow in national speed limit areas...so as far as I'm concerned these people should be fined...or shot Link to comment

st3ph3n
It's on the same page as the one that says the harthill services (up until recent changes) where fair game as a third lane of the M8 when traffic was particularly dense. Link to comment

euan_r
or how about those who dont use handbrake and insist on keeping brake pedal depressed, while the brake lights burn a hole in your retina. Link to comment
st3ph3n
Most people haven't a scooby how to use roundabouts. I like to inflict some lane discipline on them if the opportunity arrises. Link to comment

darryl_martin
Remember having someone being not too pleased with me for overtaking them once (they were doing 40 in a 60). This then led to me driving bang on the speed limit, apart from roundabouts, i took those especially slowly cos I dont like them (not!!![]). At this pont I'd like to add that the 40ton 18wheeler that mr f**kwit had also cut up was now frimly glued to his rear bumper. Then we joined the motorway. Bye.................................(and by the looks of it the truck had better acceleration then he did[]) Link to comment
z1000
How do these people get a licsence ? there every where. There's a roundabout up the road from me with 2 lanes and big white letters on the road yet sure enough you get someone going round the outside and cutting you up to get back in and can't beat holding mr 40mph ALL the way to the end of the 30's then head off to warp speed while he's still dreaming. I'm sure everyone has bad habits but a policeman once told me "a 30 is a 30 but do what you like on the open road just stay on your own side" which is good enough for me. Link to comment

Good to see I'm not the only one that does that [] I no longer come off the M876 junction of the M9 to get home due to the all-too-frequent queues. I now come off the Falkirk junction and up through Grangemouth and Skinflats and stick religiously to the 30mph limits. Everybody speeds through there and it irritates the s*** out of them to be stuck behind me - tailgating, flashing - allsorts, but as soon as we exit the 30 limit, it's pop into third and bye-bye a**hole [] Link to comment
Gumball
p;eople might say "we already do chocolate face" BUT WHY DONT WE STICK TO THE SPEED LIMIT RELIGIOUSLY FOR A WEEK EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US. this will frustrate them and also confuse them around their perception that all scoob drivers are bags from balls IM GOING TO DO IT lol Link to comment
scoobymark
Damm those 40mph drivers when you are on a country road! What's even more annoying is when you overtake them they have the cheek to flash the lights vigourasly at you[8o|] Link to comment
