Gotta say that I can't seem to get behind England, nothing against English people or the players, just don't want them to do well cos i can't be bothered listening to it for the next 40+ years....

The whole "neighbour" thing is a bit much as well, do Celtic fans support Rangers when Celtic ain't playing, no, vice-versa, no... course not, otherwise they wouldn't be "rivals" would they...

I dont mind the team, but the commentary we get, plus the fans still 'gloating' about something that happend 40 years ago gets to us all! If they won, cud u imagine what we would have to listen to!!! I dont mind them doing well, but winning the comp would be horrible!

Splendid point, which ought to end all the "should we or shouldn't we support England" nonsense. It is entirely down to individual choice (some, but very few Old Firm fans opt to support each other in Europe though, that's their choice). I never want to see England win anything, let alone the World Cup or Euro Cup purely because they are, and always will be; rivals. No one will ever force me to support England especially not on the grounds of racial hatred or in breach of PC'ness. Those who tout support on those grounds, need their heads examined!

The Celts RFC argument is flawed...............however I did find it VERY amusing when the Hibs fans sang "Flower of Scotland" at Ibrox and the Gers fans who replied with "Rule Brittania"..........WTF !!

As a unit, I hate the England team ........however I have a few English mates ( who I give pelters !)
