japerformance Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 A Huge thank you to all that showed support today by showing up to run there cars and to those who came along to spectate. It is support that keeps us going and we would like to say thank you. It was a pleasant day and hope everyone was pleased with the set-up, serives and costs of what we can provide. AGAIN a HUGE THANK YOU to all . Regards Japerformance Ltd
philip_wilson Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 A big thanks to Craig for organising an excellent day out, hada good run out to Ellon and a really good day at Japerformance, it was nice meetingeveryone. I’m well happy with the power figure, 251bhp from a UKmy99 with just a back box.
rossyboy1 Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 Another thanks to Craig for a well organised day. Well apart from the detour to Dyce that some folk took on the way out. WTF was that about? [] Happy with my 300.4 bhp (every 0.1 bhp counts) and a visit to Andy F in 4 weeks should see me hit my ultimate goal of 320-330 to justify the ££££s spent on mods []

This way avoided any unplanned attention [] Craig
craig mac Posted July 2, 2006 Author Posted July 2, 2006 Folks It would appear that we had a run and run off today.............[] Someone forgot to pay prior to there run Since we are all honest chaps, Can the one who never paid please drop me a PM so we can get this sorted out for Simon Craig
Rossco_ Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 Deffo wasnt me, Ross or Ali, we all paid together[8-|] Heres some of my snaps from the day, i got 289bhp and 229 at the wheels, no bad seein as shes standard, Simon said she was a bitty rich top end so i think a trip to the god that is andy Forest is well on the cards And just to finish off the day the old boy told me to pop in past his mate shouse and see his new arrival, i wasnt quite prepared for what i witnessed when i turned the corner He took me for a burl, rapid is not the word and what notes it comes out with, awesome. Anyway, great day, well done Craig, off to bed now

gogsie Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 Good day at Japerformance, Second time to Simon so I had my last run compared with yesterdays run. Was 289 last time and 306.5 this time. The twin scroll turbo was spooling up much quicker with the H&S Exhaust and sports cat which caused the boost to spike then drop off and bulid back up again. Was expecting a bit more than 17bhp increase but at least it is in the right direction. Only thing is it is now at 306.5 and it;'s meant to be 305 standard. Has anyone else with a New age JDM had it on a RR in standard mode? Need to get Dipsy to do a run to compare!. Still overfuelling and with the boost spiking need to get a remap badly. AF where RU? I will need to keep trying.[]
philip_wilson Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 philip you aye up for spin on tues, as always [] Sure am Euan drop me a pm to arrange

Foz01 Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 sorry i never managed to make was in bed ill all day Hope it was a good day
Ali Mowat Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 I had a great day, thanks to Craig for all the organisation and to Simon and Paula @ JapPerformance for yet another cracking day. I was well happy with the wagons effort of 235 bhp atf and 178 bhp atw, which I reckon was pretty good for a completely standard car on normal 95 ron fuel!! Was good to meet a few of you and check out some of the Aberdeen scoobies. Cant remember the guys name that owns the white sti wagon, but cheers for the info on your exhaust etc. Btw, well cool wagon there, proper stealth beast. (As far as a scoob being stealth goes anyway...) Also, who had one of the newage scoobs that was running on bridgestone potenza's - meant to ask you about them?
infiltrator2 Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Ali - twas me with the white STi wagon. Where the 326 bhp comes from beats me....Always knew it was a pretty strong engine given the stick I give it. Only mods as far as I'm aware is the one's I've fitted - HKS downpipe, Magnex decat centre and H&S backbox plus a K&N cone filter. I've had the car since 18 months old so I'm pretty sure that's all. The V3 is known for it's big turbo and wild cams, maybe I've just sorted out the breathing. Explains why I gave a 460 bhp RS4 such a hard time at the last track day 1/4 mile I attended.... I've had a look on the SNET dyno page and some of the other V3's max power is about 7,500 rpm - I thought mine was a bit closer to 8,000 rpm, can't check as the dyno plot is in mph in 3rd gear rather than rpm. Good to meet you and lots of others on the day - thought your car went pretty well for a standard UK spec. Kevin.
WUZ Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Still Pi$$ed off that I had to miss this one due to change in work commitments.........especially since the rig is now not leaving for another week which means I never had to come out early in the first place. Would have loved to have the car on the rollers and reprove the 400+bhp that "Godzuky" has. OH WELL, NEXT TIME! Russell BHP Developments - authorised HKS, BLITZ, Defi and H&S Dealer
Ali Mowat Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Hi Kevin, yeah, your Sti certainly did well on the rollers! I was mentioning to a few others that it reminded me of when I was playing Gran Tourismo 1 when I had a white wagon like yours tuned up to the max!!! Cheers for the info on the exhaust, I think the H&S backbox is the one for me, not to ott while certainly seems to be able to do the numbers when combined with the other breathing mods. Still havnt worked out how to use these icons properly! How do you enter them into the main body of the post, mine always seem to go straight to the top - hence the rolling eyes above when I meant for to appear in the main text!!

Russell Like i said my good wife did offer m8, not that there is anything to prove to those who have had the pleasure in driving it Or mac-ing it as some say.............. Craig Canna wait to get my one on NEXT TIME too[]
WUZ Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 PATIENCE GRASSHOPPER!...........soon you will be wise in the ways of Warp Speed! Then you can do all the MAC-ing you want M8.........ON YOUR OWN CAR[] Russell
