Partially agree with you Chris

1 The road to KH is v good used to live upthere ...try keeping to your own lane and not cut the sweeping corners it feels about 30mph faster!

2 I let my wife drive my STi with the kids in it...as fast as she likes.

3 Single guys with no kids and nothing to loose but their life or licence always make faster better drivers....not.

4 The difference between fast and dangerous is perception.

5If you choose not to be reckless / not to drive excessively fast  / comment on other peoples driving in any thing but 100% positive manner this does not make you ( worst insult possible coming up ) a woman.

If you post on here accept praise and critisism. SIDC is a broad and tollerant church and if it aint it should be!

Thank you all for your comments good and bad. I know there are
a lot of people out there who will not approve and think it’s just foolish and
it’s not the place to be driving like that but at no point was anyone put at
risk. I’m a family man with two very young children (not in the car at the time
before any one asks) and will never take a risk or do anything that may put my
life or someone else’s at risk. Some of you may think this is not the case
going by the video clip but I would like to point out that it was late evening very
good visibility, weather and road conditions, only nine other cars and one
motorbike on the road at the time. Over taking and cutting corners was only
done when it was safe to do so!!!! At no time was the car or I out of control.
I feel the video clip makes the trip look faster than it was as I have just
watched a video clip of a friend doing the same run on his R1 and it makes my
clip look gay.

I loved your clip, and think you drove very well. You didn't at any point seem out of control.

If this was the SNC (scottish knitting club)[:|], i could maybe understand why some people were against your video.[;)]

However, as a fast driver and lover of speed myself i really enjoyed it.

Nice one [Y]

Good clip

In no way condoning it as I would be a hypocrite!  However, just to put things in perspective.  I know of a copper up north, subaru driver and ex traffic fed, so he was one of the most trained drivers you can get on the road.

He was driving on the A82, not far after luss, came round the corner at a fair speed that 4 wheel drive can handle easily.  There was a diesel spill on the road, lost control and wrapped it round a tree.  He is now parallised from the waist down and needs a machine to breath.

Point is that although I may drive llike this on country roads on occations, there is no such thing as safe conditions, road etc to push a car like that.  You never know what is round the next corner  Reaction time to a slide, corner clip, broken down car on bend or anything would be seconds and most likely extremly hard to get away with.  Still we all take chances eh!

Keep safe all!

you lot are a bunch of hypocrites you dont buy a scoob to drive like miss daisy, id find it pretty hard to believe that everyone of you has never drove like that at some point during your scoob ownership.

Yeah agree with Ruby the driving was not to bad, one corner I wouldnt do now a days. But I think Sharon and Gumball could tell you some of my driving from the Lothians run last year and call your video tame.

Although I have lost the lust for driving the scooby atm since money is short at the minute.

Just have fun and not let it get to out of hand. [:(]

I thought the most dangerous thing was the possibility of that bottle jumping out of the holder!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did view the clip when it was first posted and thought it look fast but I find these little clips look faster than they really are????

You can’t see it well on the video but the corner I cut

after overtaking the car, you can see all the way round and up the road no

hedges or anything the camera angle make it looks like you can’s see up the road but

you sure can.

Yes this video is tame mate [:D] I had a friend in the car playing camera man so was not taking any risks.  I was going to post a clip of me doing that

run flat out in the Scooby then on the Blade when I was on my own with the dash

and tank cam and the video of my friend on his R1 but after some of the comments

about this one I’ll just leave it.
