STi_Bandit Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 Coming back from knockhill yesterday saw a lovely Black STi coming the other way. Flashed his lights and waved and the passenger waving vigoursly, i gave a kindly wave back as i passed, However 3 miles down the road, "Road Closed" and a quick u-turn and a diversion through dumferlime doh i now know why the passgner was waving vigoursly. And none of the other cars coming the other waved flashed or waved then i might of though hmmm cops must be sitting up the road with a camera, Moral of the story "Need to know the secert scoobie wave" lol Martin
st3ph3n Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 I'd say a static hand in the air should be the standard scooby wave. Any sort of motion means turn back or danger ahead.
thewelsho Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 What do we do about Scoobie drivers who don't wave?

chris_c201 Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 After a dry spell when i first got the car of looking like a nugget when waving to no reply recently every scoob i pass seems to wave! []
thewelsho Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 Was driving toward Cumbernauld last night in the inside lane of the A80 looking for my exit, when another Scoob (WR Blue STi)came quickly up the outside, slowed alongside, gave me the nod, then tore off into the distance ... Now that's a Scoobie greeting!
st3ph3n Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 It's standard if you see one at the lights, or parked up with the owner at it that you should (when safe to do so) drop a gear and floor it so they can enjoy the burble.
