I had Andy map my car and am very hapy to say the least. Andy does all his mapping on the road which IMHO is best as it recreates actual conditions the car will encounter rather than the rollers.

eh thats a tough one...... NOT

take your car to someone who has proven his car and skills by driving at 210 pmh or take it to a mob that specialise in giving civics over inflated power curves??

you choose

rollers killed my gearbox......granted it was probably on its way out.......but live mapping will always sort your car out!!!

lets face it...how often do you drive your car to 7000rpm in third in your garage with the hairdryer on it for cooling hahahah

andy will sort your motor out the proper way.....live mapping in the real world on a real road!!!!

like the cossie dude says......andy f ..proven tuner with proven skills....and the cossie boys know a thing or two about tuning!!!

if i had a scooby and had to chose from all the tuners in the UK....

i would go to andy...

his car has proven the quickest  in all areas, doesnt charge the earth and is not too far away so it would seem silly not to.

Thanks for the support guys.

To be fair, I have already answered this question in an email and actually recommended Dastek.

For a stage 1 tune on a standard-ish car the Unichip offers better value for money than I can with the Apexi.

Where the Apexi Power FC scores is if you are embarking on a tuning programme over an extended period and may require a number of mapping sessions as you progress. Also the resale value may be something to consider.

Gerry at Dastek knows his stuff and it is a first class set up they have there. Just not sure if Gerry still does much of the regular tuning work however ? The kit is only as good as the operator so make sure you ask for Gerry !!

cheers
