hi m8! yes of course i remeber you! how did you get on with the gems? ok? i sold the clk and bought a 330D "M" sport, nice car but a bit dull for a loony like me! so after i had it for a year i traded it in for a 2003 M3 SMG, all the toys, very nice! smg........it takes about 2000 miles of two weeks to get used to it, round town i run it in auto mode, nice and easy, smooth even, but with a flick of the paddles its back to mad mode! so yes, go for a smg, there is a nice M3 for sale at campbellcars.net in dunfermiline, he is a indy who gets good cars in! if your brothers a nutter like you he will need a back box, the std sounds a bit poo! or if he is up for it a full system at around 3k, worth every penny i think! the cars are great, fast as f*ck and very, very tough! just make sure it has full BMW history, an check it with bmw, they can do this off the key of vin number, full print outs are free (thats about the only thing from bmw) not worth a sook without fbmwsh!! i can help you with all the forum addys, what to change, where not to take it ect ect, let me know!! cheers robin.

hi m8, its somthing to do with fooling the brain, it jusrt expects you to be in top at that speed!! i only found out as i forgot about 6th on the smg !! i looked over and saw 157 THEN clicked in to 6th!!! and it just kept pulling up to 175, so i held it a bit longer, looked over, saw 177 and thought "fu*k this"!!!!! when did i last check the tires? are the wheel bolts tight ect ect ect!! mind you it had just been seviced by bmw so all was good! unlike when i just got the car, got it on the thursday, took off to oban (great road) for the weekend, loads of high speed ish twisties, not too mad though as i had only just got the car, then up to orkney for a few days via loch ness and fort william, then back down the A* at over 140 at times, the bit where its splits in to two way up north, got home to have the tire pressure alarm go off........... i was putting a new set on anyway, so when the garage took off the offside front, guess what?? that foam tire punture stuff had been used!!! looked like rotten milk!! so thats all that kept me on the road........hmmmmm since then i have done a few "wee things" and if you think scoobys are dear to tune, get a M3 it will break your heart and you will love it in the same moment! try 3k for a exaust system, £500 for a air intake, 2k for suspention, 3k for brakes ect ect ect cheers robinh20mrv.

greetings troops, I have a friend in ABERDEEN who is looking for a scooby, so if you have a sti, in preference a 7 please give me a shout !! the car must be unmolested!!! prefer with sevice history, even if its not subaru, uk or import!! no front mounts, remaps, superchips, dump valves ect ect a nice std (ish) sti would fit the bill !! 2 or 4 door only!! no wrxs must be sti!! a big brake kit and a exaust system is fine as i any sensible mods!! cash waiting, will travel to the right car!! please note the car will be getting a FULL inspection prior to purchase and hpi check, the purchase will be done middle of next month when my m8 gets home from working abroad. ps the car cannot have been worked on by ANY garages in or near perth cheers robinh20mrv

hi m8, i have a 330 d "m" sport, and its the best car i have EVER driven, its even better than my last car , a clk 430 amg, and better (await flaming) my sti ra v8............. if you would like give me a shout at robingalloway@hotmail.com, for instance at the weekend i filled up in scrabster and came down the a9 never below 85 mph and up to 120 mph and i still have a 1/4 tank at 300 miles...!!! i have fitted a k+n filter and its been reprogramed, but thats just for torque, the top speed is the same 155 mph, give me a shout if you want to know more................ cheers robin.
