Need a new Radiator

Pulled into work last night and lifted the bonnet and there was water everywhere[:^)] and it had an oily feel to it (antifreeze) So I gave the car a rev using the throttle body and I saw water squirting out of the casing after letting off[:'(]! Managed to get back home though so it's not too bad, but.......

Spoke to RCMS and they do an aftermarket one for £175 + VAT but, what amazed me was they said for a genuine Subaru one it'd cost £270ish + VAT for a reconditioned one from a dealer and I'd have to give mine back to them and/or pay a ser-charge!!!!!!![]

sounds very expensive to me. replaced mine about a month ago a mechanic pal got it for me for £ 115 delivered.

 

brand new ( tho not a subaru branded part )

fitted in 20 mins works fine and is identical to oe part.

hi mate, mine came from a wee place in edinburgh called scotrad , 0131 337 8887  (alec)

as said it was about £115, im not too sure if the bloke often sends stuff out but you can phone him and try, its worth a bash.
