Tyres - preferrably in the Aberdeen area

Oops just noticed that i'm almost on slicks on the back and the fronts are not looking that healthy either.

currently got on 215/18 Toyos but i'm thinking about going back to 225/35/18

anyone got any suggestions of anywhere round here thats offering good prices on tyres at the moment

I use this place. Next day delivery, and get someone to put them on.

Someone else may know of local deals but you can always compare the prices anyway.

Get onto Turriff Tyres (PF Alloys), excellent prices on Toyos or cheaper brands, all fitted, etc.

If you want just the tyres for another to fit (i.e.: Turriff not convenient to get to - look at Camskill 'on line', just do a search).

Checkpoint on George Street are usually very competitive, and take very good care when fitting and balancing your wheels. One of the few place I trust in town to fit tyres without damaging the alloys or using knock-on weights.

Eddie - I have a spare set of 500 mile old, just scrubbed in 225/35/18 Goodyear Eagle GSD3's in the garage if you need them. I was going to put them on the PFF7's but can wait a while if yours are nearly "illegal".

i will probably end up with mytyres but i'll check with Turriff first.

i have borrowed a set of wheels in the interim as mine really need to be refurbished and i'll take the opportunity to get it done now as all 4 tyres need replacing and that will tart my car up nicely for the better weather

I'd recommend Jim & Julian at Turriff Tyres too. They beat net prices for GSD3's on the girlfriends 172 Cup.
