st3ph3n Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Mmmm. Hemi. There's been some very nice General Lee painted new Chargers. I've got a model of the General Lee ontop of my telly too. About a foot long maybe. £10 well spent.
G.T. Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 bit early for halloween dougsters starting on the monkey nuts early
st3ph3n Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Did someone get a new toy bit of software to play with?

G.T. Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 ian are you to blame for all the tom foolery going on in here just now tut tut well seing you are buggering off to oz
gus the bus Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 BTTT go for Tango Weeb! would look great and certainly a wee (big1) bit different! Ford (dare I say it!) signal orange of the old mark 2 Escorts is a great colour or the new focus!?! Just my opinion! Gus
IanJ Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Another vote for orange. One of my favourite cars i've had was my mk2 RS2000 in signal orange. But for a more modern take i'd go for something like the orange wilkie posted. I've seen some racing scoobs in a similar shade and they look the danglies.
gus the bus Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 nice car you had there IanJ. One of my Favourites (aprt fae scoobs obviously!) BTTT fur the Wee man
oobster Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Mate of mine had a salmon-pink RS Mk2 - now THAT was a nice colour. Edit: Apparently the correct name for the shade is Signal Red, but it's 'nick-name' is Salmon Pink. Might be worth a wee look @ that shade Brendan, it really is cracking.
weeb Posted January 23, 2006 Author Posted January 23, 2006 cheers folks for the opinions!! and am feckin pmsl at all the hilarity on this post!! we are all loose cannons!
IanJ Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 << Mate of mine had a salmon-pink RS Mk2 - now THAT was a nice colour. >> You mean signal red 80 I know a couple of folks that had them and didn't like them being called pink!
oobster Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 You beat me there Ian - i was just editing my original post! Here's a pic of a SIGNAL RED Mk2.
IanJ Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 That looks a bit orangey in that pic. I actually thought it was pretty cool. I've got a load of car pics that i'm scanning at the mo. I'll post up the pics when i get a mo.
weeb Posted January 23, 2006 Author Posted January 23, 2006 another opinion needed - should i keep the skirts round bottom of me car black or colour code?? (if i go for orange that is)
G.T. Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 colour code you getting the numbers and flag on the roof too ffs
weeb Posted January 23, 2006 Author Posted January 23, 2006 wouldnt put the roof flag on!! am just in the thinking stages at the mo, trying to make a decision. i watched dukes o hazzard film the other day and i got gumball dvd and a saw a few cars looking good with the colour scheme! i have a few carbon body mods to fit, was thinking of going the sleek black look or the wild orange!
st3ph3n Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Weeb, it works tremendous on the Halfords backed Integra Type Rs in the BTCC Big Number 01 on the side of that. Getting in and out through the windows (that's no happening for me is it lads?). Confederate flag - I wouldn't personally. You could maybe put a Scottish Flag on top, but I'd probably just leave it blank.
weeb Posted January 23, 2006 Author Posted January 23, 2006 looking good!! i was originaly gonna go for the all black knight rider look, but the orange is really growing on me!
