peter_macgowan Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Yup the splitter looks the part Brian. Looks low and mean
gus the bus Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 << Can't get the subaru part of T&C website to work - can you Gus?? Brian >> Yip got it I like that rear apron! think I'll get one B4 Stevie gets my other bits painted
wrxmania Posted January 8, 2006 Author Posted January 8, 2006 << I like that rear apron! think I'll get one B4 Stevie gets my other bits painted >> I like it too - however, I don't think my exhaust will fit too easily in that small space...and I'd have to take off the Scott Lowe Carbon Fibre exhaust gaurd - which I quite like
gus the bus Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 If it will fit around my Prodrive box!?! which it looks like it will I'll get it ordered I think the red one has a Prodrive box fitted!!!? Gus
gus the bus Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 £200 + vat for the apron (with a 10% discount) worth it do youz think!?! + painting (Stevies gonna love me!!!) Gus
wrxmania Posted January 8, 2006 Author Posted January 8, 2006 NEVER worth that - is it really? Need a nice Subaru sale Gus - maybe, just maybe
oobster Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Ah you canny take it with you Gus. Get it bought & get it into Stevie. As long as does my stuff first
wrxmania Posted January 8, 2006 Author Posted January 8, 2006 Get him to piant you car silver Gus while it's there - save a bit of embarrassment
gus the bus Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 "Gav, gonna do me a special on that apron" type approach required! Mind you if I sell that front splitter painted I'd just about be there but then I'd want the Scott Lowe at another ~£170 squidlys
gus the bus Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 << Ah you canny take it with you Gus. Get it bought & get it into Stevie. As long as does my stuff first >> ..................... at this rate Andy! He could do the whole car! Gus
irish al Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 You putting it on now Gus ?? Does anyone knoe what type of bulbs are required for the front indicators, are the pins offset or not and whats the code. Looked at the rear apron when i ordered the splitter, didnt think i would get it round my exhaust either as its 5". It would finish it off but i kind of like these as well as not many other options . Wonder if they are discounted ???? Aero
gus the bus Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 << Get him to piant you car silver Gus while it's there - save a bit of embarrassment >> THen I'd look like you Brian Only a little older
wrxmania Posted January 8, 2006 Author Posted January 8, 2006 Not so keen on the Aero gaurd things - look a bit, bleurghhhh, takes away the smooth, aggressive sideline of the car. And Gus, as for looking a bit older - just a bit???
gus the bus Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 << You putting it on now Gus ?? << God knows mate! Other things I want for the Scoob ie the rear apron, Those "splash guard" things replace yer mudflaps mate (or hide them anyway!) As Brian says a bit "eeeeugh" Brian, just a year or two. Gus
irish al Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Not much good putting on the rear apron without the splitter at the front. Tried to order those bulbs but the guy didnt know what type i needed and neither do i Brian Ive been looking at those pic and it does look realy nice, can wait to get it on. Whens the next meet so i can have a good look.
wrxmania Posted January 8, 2006 Author Posted January 8, 2006 A lovely Blitz Nur Spec R system, w/full de-cat you want Gus - to keep your neighbours happy. Or get down to C&C Custom Stainless, Hillington for some real quality Brian
wrxmania Posted January 8, 2006 Author Posted January 8, 2006 Bowling meet - hopefully the 17th/18th this month I think. Possibly be at the Glasgow meet - but not sure if I can go yet. Brian
gus the bus Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 << Not much good putting on the rear apron without the splitter at the front. >> Will if I put the WR1 style splitter on with my Sti corner thingys! Now I like that a LOT! gus
scoobyseller555 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 The red wrx at t&c's has ppp on it so it has a prodrive back box, seen this car in the flesh and it looks stunning but £19995?seemed to be plenty room round the tailpipe from what i can recall, would house a 4-5inch exhaust (straight pipe)no probs, and anyway stevie walker is the main man when making things fit, these are complete side sills sold as part of the kit and not just aero stick-ons.
wrxmania Posted January 8, 2006 Author Posted January 8, 2006 My exhaust is an angled exit so no joy for me - but I think Al's is a straight exit. Mine shall remain angled, to accomodate the scaffolding pipe under the car!
oobster Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Al - the bulbs for the front indicators are W21W's if i recall.
gus the bus Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 << Al - the bulbs for the front indicators are W21W's if i recall. >> Al, order enough for me mate Gus
irish al Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Cheers andy and brian, w21w wedge type for the front. Gus, GBKPERFORMANCE.CO.UK dont have these on the £4 deal. Gus, ordered you a set for getting my splitter sorted.
