Gumball Posted January 4, 2006 Author Posted January 4, 2006 saved me sending them back, waiting in for spacers to be signed for and saved me falling over htem in the hallway everyday i dont know if i like them though (on the car)
RS Grant Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 They are nice wheels, but I personally think that 17's are too small on the bigger Newage cars... Unless you're planning to buy some larger wheels for "show" and these will be resigned for winter & track use?? Cheers, Grant
Gumball Posted January 4, 2006 Author Posted January 4, 2006 i like the way 17's agree with my driving style at times. i do also like the look of 18's on the newage scoobs. I intend to use these for the next few months then purchase 18's on a really excellent set of rims. these ones will then be used only for the track this summer and the winter. I still like the GC10's that are from japan and on the wrc tarmac motor. something like this is what ive always wanted to get and will be a few months away
RS Grant Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 Yea, I'm a fan of those.... expensive, but they'd suit your car perfectly!! End of the day, its not like you're putting up with some dodgy scuffed old rims until the 18's arrive anyway!! lol Cheers, Grant
Gumball Posted January 4, 2006 Author Posted January 4, 2006 someones buying the sti wheels that arent scuffed lol....i hope he still wants them?? or i will just paint them white and rip around the track with them
RS Grant Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 He was desperate to sell his wheels in time to get yours... so doubt he'll back out!! Cheers, Grant
Gumball Posted January 4, 2006 Author Posted January 4, 2006 Im not sure what size the spacers are, i think they are 5mm.
SEEVERS Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 Is it still 100% safe with spacers fitted Chris....? Not downing your wheels (as i quite like them actually)....just wondering. Del.
jcscoob Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 When i put wheels on the burds old fiat chinq they came with two spacers for the back, so them must be safe and a recognised way to achive the off set ! ( just my own opinion of wheels spacers)
drb5 Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Good stuff Chris. Look mucho better too. Perfectly fine with 5mm spacers. Me old RA had 10mm with longer studs.
Gumball Posted January 5, 2006 Author Posted January 5, 2006 cheers mate, just new and a bit different. ill get used to them
vicki Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Do you know if the wheels in the little photo come in silver and would fit my car Chris? Your new wheels are nice
Gumball Posted January 5, 2006 Author Posted January 5, 2006 they come in silver yes Vicki. The sizes you would need to check to find out if they would fit. im not sure off the top of my skull. Have a search about online for Prodrive GC10E alloys. Theyre not cheap
vicki Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Thanks Chris I never like any wheels I see but I have fell in love with those. Better start saving!!!!!!!!!
SEEVERS Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Chris, you got any clearer pics of these on the car?? Del.

st3ph3n Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 VICKI! You need these rims. Basically they're a copy of the 10s. Still not as fresh as these though
fai17 Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Looking good m8. Is your car driving ok with the new wheels?
ally-b Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Not strictly true St3ph3n , I think the young lady is looking for Prodrive OZ... Like mine but in Silver . Al.
