You could try searching thru the forum, but you know gumball - he's probably named the title something random thats got nowt to do with the content! I'm sure he'll be along shortly to tell you the in's & out's.
Gumball Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 OK Tools- Hair dryer shatty plastic knife (like a party plastic thing) some polish patience Details- 1. using the hairdyer, gently BLOW hot air onto the letters. treat each one individually, dont rush. 2. as the letters start to get hot and the glue behind them comes off, gently pull them off using the knife to get in behind 3. pick off the glue thats left, no doubt with the use of the hairdryer 4. polish the shat off thats left thats it. job done.

oobster Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 << you know gumball - he's probably named the title something random thats got nowt to do with the content! You have him well sussed! >> Ah but that's part of his appeal, in a totally non-homosexual way of course. The forum has been a bit quiet the last couple of weeks - i've been forced to browse SNet during the day when i should be working. That's when SNet is actually up-and-running of course.

WUZ Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 Craig - don't seem to have any mail from you M8 Was going to look a little earlier but we just had a "drive off" on the ship so all hell has broken loose. Not fun when your drilling at 10000' and then the drillship loses all power and you start floating away. Nasty but we disconnected in good time so we might be able to salvage the well...........................or we've wasted about $2.7 million of ONGC's money Russell
Gumball Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 drive by you mean straight out compton fo sho ma shnizzle
G.T. Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 wuz did you get wet driving off your ship, hope you had a life jacket on
WUZ Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 Right, you piss-taking muppets, "drive-off" is either where the vessel loses power completely and we move off location (AKA "drive-down") with no power OR where we lose DP (Dynamic Positioning) station-keeping and "drive off" away from the well location. Nasty, buttock-clenching stuff I can tell you. My hands are still shaking. Russell ( off to get fresh underwear)
G.T. Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 should have kept the meter topped up mate if you lost power sounds scary if you were bricking it, typing is alright for having a shaky hand though "piss taking muppets" thats no nice
