The top one is the stock with the butterfly valve contraption, the bottom one is the replacement, less restrictive.

No its not what you are showing is the inlet from the inlet manifold to the head. The ones in the picture are off the manifold suggesting a twin plenum setup. Your throttlebody sits at the back of your inlet manifold unless you have reversed it. I smell Bull**it!!!

Yup, mangled the gearbox at Knockhill and almost fried a new AP organic clutch at Crail

Oh and its lower than a snakes a$$ in a wagon rut if you don't mind
