wilky Posted December 17, 2005 Author Posted December 17, 2005 Explain the throttle bodies Tino, you doing twin plenum?
G.T. Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 is there a bit of you show me yours ill show you mine going on here boys think ill leave you 2 alone to get on with things no further comment to make
tino Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 The top one is the stock with the butterfly valve contraption, the bottom one is the replacement, less restrictive. << is there a bit of you show me yours ill show you mine going on here boys >> Absolutely, would you care to join in
wilky Posted December 17, 2005 Author Posted December 17, 2005 No its not what you are showing is the inlet from the inlet manifold to the head. The ones in the picture are off the manifold suggesting a twin plenum setup. Your throttlebody sits at the back of your inlet manifold unless you have reversed it. I smell Bull**it!!!
G.T. Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 no point me joining in tino ,nothing to intrest you 2 throttle bodies and butterflys indeedy
tino Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 << No its not what you are showing is the inlet from the inlet manifold to the head >> Yes quite correct, incorrectly named picture! << I smell Bull**it!!! >> Do you live near a farm?
wilky Posted December 17, 2005 Author Posted December 17, 2005 ok Im looking forward to seeing this car. Looks cool. Im not convinced though.
tino Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 Its been running like this for about a year now. Pop round tomorrow if you think I'm bullsh1tting, Not something I make a habit of. Picture name edited to stop me getting confused, its late and I'm too tired.
wilky Posted December 17, 2005 Author Posted December 17, 2005 I believe you. How much you putting on the road
tino Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 No idea, never had it on the rolling road, but it does 1/4m ile in 13.08 111mph, with a passanger.
fai17 Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 Tino: I think i seen you on SIDC trackday and Crail thrash last time. Is your car the WRX which is lower than a low thing and with a new 6speed box?Plus FMIC
tino Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 << Tino: I think i seen you on SIDC trackday and Crail thrash last time >> Yup, mangled the gearbox at Knockhill and almost fried a new AP organic clutch at Crail Oh and its lower than a snakes a$$ in a wagon rut if you don't mind
