scuba dou Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 4x 17? new age Sti alloys with RE070?s in excellent condition. Note; alloys are powder-coated ?Sti? pink. As most will know these are the ideal track & summer tyres. Selling as I can't get em over the 355 mm AP's 250 quid the lot: no haggling and no BS either please Alloys are from my 02 Sti and I'm Aberdeenshire.
johns Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 The tyres won't fit on a classic Impreza, but the wheels will. If anyone doesn't want the tyres, then I can possibly do a deal to just buy the 4 tyres. I've already got two sets of wheels and don't have space for more. John
imprezapete Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 how much tread do these have also do these fit over STi Brembos? hmmm they need respraying...... I would need to sell my 02 WRX alloys with F1s on

Johnny50 Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 Pete, they wouldn't cost much to get podwercoated mate.
imprezapete Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 The problem being m8 is thay its chrisbo and thats my last pay check until the new year so I really need to sell my alloys on. Anyone interested?
wrxmania Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 Pete - of course they will fit over STI brembos - they are STI wheels !!! Brian
imprezapete Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 Pete I was thinking about brembos maybe in the future but I need alloys that will allow me to fit them and mine wont. Johnny I will give you buzz when your on MSN m8
dan_jess Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 Wasnt sum1 looking for these the other week?
paddy247 Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 Yeh, I think the Pink Panther was interested lol
scuba dou Posted November 24, 2005 Author Posted November 24, 2005 Thanks for that Cal. Pink wheels here Ignore the daft comment from Talizman? The wheels were originally powder-coated to attract attention to our SIDC stand at a fairly big car show?and also to show the workmanship that PPS of Inveruire can do, with regard to powder-coating. The alloys were never regarded as a mod as such?I got the mods from the likes of PowerStation, RCM and Bob Rawle?and when your Scooby goes as well as my little buggy does; well you can have any colour of wheels on it you want
imprezapete Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 Ok, but how much tread does the tyres have? I still have 5mm on mine at least. Also whats the tyres size?
Carl Davey Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 Make your mind up Pete. I'm back on the 7th and will have these for myself (if they're still available) as they're such a bargain. I won't be having them powder coated either.
johns Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 The tyres are 225/45x17, and would have around 7mm of tread remaining on them. If the tyres are no use to you, then I'll happily do a deal to take them off your hands, and you can have the wheels. John
scuba dou Posted November 25, 2005 Author Posted November 25, 2005 The tyres are almost as new condition, can't say for sure about the tread, but can check when I get home. They are in 225/45/17 size, standard Sti alloys and tyre size.
scuba dou Posted November 25, 2005 Author Posted November 25, 2005 Hey Wuz, Maybe I should sign off with Jools Rover 400 SIDL tractor, c/w with tow bar, alloys, mud flaps, sun roof, A/C and deluxe wood effect trim Fondly referred to as the Wom-bat by the boys due to the R *** WOM regi plate I have never ever owned a car that goes for so long on single tank of fuel
