I am writing to enquire about the apparent gayness thats been going on here recently. I mean this in a nice way and dont want another 12 rounds with any members here, however............................

The main page is now littered with

glasgow meeting point for the run

fifie meeting point

aberdeen meeting point

edinburgh meeting point

the scottish scoobies map thread

sidc events diary

retro car club meet

santa cruise

etc etc etc

OK, what im getting at is the true SIDC threads relating to things like the above are clearly relevant and as the day passes, find themselves dwindling down and onto the second and third page. Could this be due to the volume of threads like

O/T what colour is your cat?

O/T what is your favourite chippie?

O/T do you like indian or curry?

O/T what hand do you hold your fork in?

O/T if you were in Barlinnie, would you pick up the soap?

As i said, and im laughing when im typing this, but cmon guys...............why dont we leave the bare bum boxing threads for another day and get more about scottish scoobies.

I don't think it's a big problem Chris. Forums naturally evolve to encompass a broader range of individuals who will talk about a broader spectrum of PISH. For sure we have a lot of OT stuff today, but it's not the norm, and I don't think it ever will be.

That said - having 2 or 3 Scottish Areas would be nice, but previous experience on other forums often left the place fragmented when too much segregation went on.

So an OT forum, a more club related forum and a for sale one would be the order of the day I think.

On the topic of things that bother people - "Gayness". When did gay become a synonym for bad? I'd personally like to see its use in that context eradicated from the forum, and life in general. You can't have it both ways.

Or perhaps you can!

I do feel the employment (read the first page of GUMBALL's thread again please) and location (well done Cal) of owners is of interest to the community but 3 threads on our diets (or lack of them) kinda clutters the place up IMHO.

This has again thrown up the question of WHEN is the new software going to be ready. Please await the response of the people who maybe able to answer this.
