They have an advertising board @ the new Falkirk football ground >> Benny T's ??? Was there the other week....Black pudding supper & a tub of curry sauce - Lovely!! >> Aye,, Benny T's it is!

alistair_learmonth Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 Hatleys in Alloa, good for fresh baked pizza as well, but there fresh fish is good. Alan Hansen and Kenny Dalglish say its there fav.
colinj Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 Is anyone else really hungry now from reading this post
alistair_learmonth Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 Was thinking a can also vote for a chippy not ma local one, well its in Cupar, Fife and its called Libo's always stop for a medium fish supper, you get two just like in Hatleys. Anstruther is mince as there servings are small and over priced. By Land and Sea, Polmont there batter is too sweet just like Harry Ramsdoms and are over priced plus they sell filet of fish, a true supper is full fish in my book. Benny-T's, Lauriston is good but aint as good as my first two choices. Olarios in Kincardine is on par with it. The Bridge of allan chippie not as good as these and another good chippie is in Auchterarder the bigger of the two shops.
oobster Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 << Is anyone else really hungry now from reading this post >> I've just phoned the Mrs to ask id she's taken anything oot the freezer for tonight's tea..... coz if she hasn't then i'm having a spicy haggis supper!!
dan_jess Posted November 15, 2005 Author Posted November 15, 2005 I forgot to mention the Harry Ramsdens at the Kingston bridge, its good aswell Am starvin now 2!
NightOwl Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 << Ullapool chippy is as good as any but for full effect a fish supper needs to be eaten at the seaside!!! >> The chippy in Ullapool is brilliant and the owner has a Jag with the reg...FRY 1N. My personal fave is the Bervie Chipper.
peter_macgowan Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 Land and Sea in Polmont / Falkirk But my fav is Benny T's Falkirk - Best fish and chips ive ever had.
