andy
I'm only messing. Those of us that work in IT invariably get into situations helping others. We don't mind it, but do like to joke about it. Link to comment
st3ph3n
Indeed we do. If you can't laugh at someone elses technical misfortune then you shouldn't be in IT. At least you don't have the average user problem Dougster - too much one handed surfing resulting in more spyware in your PC than in James Bond's suitcase. Andy, who is that girl in your avatar? dougster
Just reverted back and deleted all McAfee products and problems seem to have disappeared??? Does anyone have any dealings or past problem with McAfee/NTL/ActiveX/Script Stopper issues? I was getting the IEXPLORE.EXE not responding message as well as loosing a hell of a lot of keystrikes when typing. Windows also had a problem recognising the DVD+-RW drive which NERO found no problem. Now if anyone has spoken to me on MSN recently they will have noticed the mental typos. I have corrected only 3 in this whole relply. Anyone? Link to comment

=Robbo=
Dougs machine needed a Firmware update, I made him a bootable CD with the update on it. Problem now solved. And that's what happens if you buy a Fujitsu-* lappy you need to flash the firmware after you buy it just so it works? Worst brand ever! Robbo. Link to comment
