johns Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 Interesting at the limits, not the most progressive tyre in the wet. In the dry, they grip very well and keep on gripping and are progressive at the limit. Almost the ideal dry weather tyre In the wet, they let go quite early, and aren't very progressive. I find that due to the firm sidewalls, the ABS also kicks in quite early over rough surfaces in the wet, particularly when cold. Not the best of tyres for the Scottish winter season. John
zeolite Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 Just had an aquaplane moment this afternoon on the 50s. If the 70s are worse then I would get them changed for the winter.
Scooby Dooby Blue Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 They look like slicks so common sense would dictate they act like slicks!
dipsy Posted October 30, 2005 Author Posted October 30, 2005 I will be sticking to the speed limits with these tyres in the wet and if i don't like them .I will but them in sale and wanted on here and buy a all weather tyre for the car
