Fonzy Posted October 8, 2005 Author Posted October 8, 2005 Cheers for the comments folks. I don't realy want to sell her but I need something with 4 doors and rear folding seats at the moment, so am looking for a newer uk model. Fonzy
imprezapete Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 Very nice car bud, wish I had got one of these now. Oh well, mines running sweet after I got the Cat sensor sorted with fix now Hope you sell it easy m8
jamie_wood Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 I like the look of this. You sure its not an STI 6 though? The year/front lip/rear wing would indicate it was a version 6 to me. I do like this though!! I am supposed to be trading mine in for a new jeep in the next few weeks. After that I will be looking for a Classic for myself again. I will keep this marked How quick you wanting to move with this??
dougster Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 Jamie this is a cracker!! Suits you sir!!! Grey, gold wheels.....and I STILL LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
jamie_wood Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 Fingers crossed Doug. I hope the buggy trades in okay. Cant be ar5ed with the hassle of trying to sell her plus I dont have the time anymore. So if I can trade it in against a jeep for Ally it will be Then I get to replace the buggy with a good old classic again Should never have sold the last one Allans type R looks like the biz
dougster Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 Why are you trading Ally in for a Jeep? She's a good wee runner!!!
imprezapete Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 << Ha ha ha Hijack >> You know you want this one Jamie!!
Fonzy Posted October 10, 2005 Author Posted October 10, 2005 Cheers for the comment guys. Jamie, I forgot to mention that I fitted the STI 6 front lip not long after I bought it of Brian Downie (My local dealer). What car are you planning on trading in for a Jeep? I am after a UK Version 8 sti around the £15 - £16K Mark. Not really in a hurry to sell I was thinking of maybe holding on to mine until the 06 model comes out but we'll see. Dougster, Where you at the SIDC day at Alford 2004? If I am right you know my pal Robert Skinner. Could be wrong though. Allan
jamie_wood Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 Allan, I have a 2003 53 plate scooby Now has the large STI rear wing fitted. Shes not got folding rear seats though Keep me posted then. Let me knwo what your plans are. Like I said, I still need to get the Jeep sorted out. Might get it orderd tomorrow Then I will get a classic again as I prefer them to the newage cars

Fonzy Posted October 10, 2005 Author Posted October 10, 2005 Carl, I saw you where in the market for another project. But I also saw your £8K limit. Am I right in saying your now on the Bruce?
Carl Davey Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 Allan, you are correct. Left the good ship Miller for now. Aye, this is the third Type R which has caught my attention in as may days, the budget seems to have gone out the window. Really must behave, will be in touch.
Fonzy Posted October 10, 2005 Author Posted October 10, 2005 No problem carl, look forward to hearing from you. I am home a week on wed. Better go it's my turn for the coffee run! Al
