paulc555 Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 ....ah i dont know.... the mere mention of modifications yesterday...and of you go.. selling everything around you......... see if you hadnt bought that burger you would have £1.50 more to spend.... notice I only bought tea...eh theres a plan there somewhere...
dougster Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 What kind of bike? That was my plan for next summer.
dougster Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 Sounds like a bargain but was considering an R6 or CBR. Get the pics up anyway!!!
st3ph3n Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 Damn that looks good. Love the Yamaha america colour scheme. When Rossi and Edwards were running it at Laguna earlier this year it was the nicest looking bike I'd seen in many a year. One day I'll get something like this, but not until I've learned more lessons in road madness in a car.
johnnyr6 Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 Don't we all m8, have you seen the 2006 model? i've seriously considered selling my scoob for one.. Just need to stick to the gsxr in the meantime, till i make up my mind
colin_ross Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 The matt black looks as hard as nails in the flesh. Got to get another one.
gus the bus Posted September 27, 2005 Author Posted September 27, 2005 Meant to say I can even supply leather trousers, armoured jacket, size 9 boots and waterproof suit FOC in the deal if anyones interested!?! Gus
gus the bus Posted October 21, 2005 Author Posted October 21, 2005 Folks this is still for sale. I really need to get it away so I'm willing to let it go for a vastly reduced......... Bike details: Yamaha Fazer 600s May 2003 on an 03 plate black and yellow custom paint job with lower fairing, rear hugger and double bubble screen (bike talk!) Bike is taxed until end March 2006 and has under 3500miles on the clock and is mint! I'm giving it away for an absolute bargain £2,600 (the bike is HPI clear) I can send photo's if anyone is interested. (photograph attached in Dougsters posting above) I know it aint the best time of year for selling but @ this price!!!!! (would even be willing to store it over winter if you are a fair weather biker??) PS I was offered £3,200 as a trade in but dont want another bike (just now!!!) So, even if its not your taste you could get a bargain to trade in???
sharon_mccall Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 << Meant to say I can even supply leather trousers, armoured jacket, size 9 boots and waterproof suit FOC in the deal if anyones interested!?! >> Not interesting in buying them , but the mere sight of a man in leathers.....................
gus the bus Posted October 21, 2005 Author Posted October 21, 2005 Easy tiger! No, I'm not gonna put up a picture
sharon_mccall Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 When i said a "man" in leathers, you never even occured to me Gus! LOL m8
gus the bus Posted October 21, 2005 Author Posted October 21, 2005 I love u too! NOT! Anyway , thought this forum was for TURBO drivers!!!? 15 all ???
dougster Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 Tempting my friend, very tempting......... I'll show some of my biker mates who have just passed CBT.
gus the bus Posted October 22, 2005 Author Posted October 22, 2005 Cheers Doug, Bike is very genuine, just lost interest (hence the low miles!) now that I have the scooby. Only thing I need to do is put my Private Plate on retention but would do that when sold. Bike would most definately suit someone who has just passed their test or returning to biking. Enough torque but not mental (de-tuned R6 engine!) and very comfortable riding position. Can e-mail you more photo's if required. cheers Gus
