Gumball Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 Tomorrow night there is a track event at KH for Dreadnought garage. The MG/TVR garage. The cost is £50 for the usual 6-8pm. I have been to this event before and the event is remarkable. the track is fairly quiet and hosts CTR's, MG's, TVR's, Sccobs, Ferraris, Porsche's. with loads and loads of space to choose your own tempo and enjoy it. The link below should allow you to contact them in time to book tomorrow. This realy is a good event. Going to go and test out the new power round the track and see how it gets on. contact here for place on the track
sheep Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 Gumball whats your favorite brand of tobaco? I will pop up tomorrow night but wont be going on track.

st3ph3n Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 Hmmmm. Working until 6 tonight and I could be at KH in 10 minutes from here. Pop up for a wee bit of a spectate perhaps.
sheep Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 A good night ruined by to many stoppages Glad i wasnt one of the people who paid money. Gumball the car looks and sounds rapid
5cooby Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 just back from kh some nice cars including THIS (ps click the links on the site to check it out) and a scooby killing ........ FORD FIESTA !!!! that fiesta could shift, it was flying by everything on the track also half an hour WASTED due to an oil spillage all the way round the track and the race was stopped AGAIN 15 minutes before we left for no apparent reason then the people who went back on got one lap and that was it glad i wasnt on the track either
shocker13 Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 hey gumball nice car i might be no good at english but i never got the chance to practice my reading as your bumper was always behind me see ya shocker
Gumball Posted September 2, 2005 Author Posted September 2, 2005 i only commented on your post to one person. i only mentioned your illiteracy to one person. i now know who you are !!!! too easy. try going on the track next time rather than pretending you ever left the pit as a spectator either you want to be my friend. or your being wide.? which is it?
Gumball Posted September 2, 2005 Author Posted September 2, 2005 that aside. we went to KH this evening to take part in this tracknight. paid the £50 as usual, got 5 laps in before the EBC "track" driscs let me down in a big way. DONT BUY THEM. then as someone mentioned a jaguar spilled its sump all over the whole track from start to finish and we all waited patiently as they threw down cement dust to dry it up. Finally when this was done, we started again and got one more lap before the chequered flag was produced for the end of the night!!!!!!!!! £50 fee, £50 fuel. new Mintex 1155's ordered again. wash out
imprezapete Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 Sorry to hear that Chris Was that EBC discs and pads? If so did you go for the red stuff pads?
Gumball Posted September 2, 2005 Author Posted September 2, 2005 pete EBC grooved and semi drilled discs with red stuff pads. been on the track a few times now and these are bad brakes. the speed out the corners was the only thing that stopped me getting smoked to bits. having to brake under the bridge on the straight to stop by the corner isnt good fun. dont buy these brakes if your planning on going on track.
