What should the next modification be then?

Looks like you've got a few options to me,

1 - If you're defo selling it put it up on the owners club web sites with the printout from Dastek confirming it's 300 bhp status (can't see you missing that with all the mods onboard)

2 - If you're selling it to the great unwashed patch up the door and arch and put the loudest dump valve on it you can find. Refit the back seat and anything else you stripped for weight saving. Obviously take all the quality parts off first and put them aside. Cry like a little girl as you see your car become a shadow of its former self.

3 - HARDCORE OPTION. Cash in your pension, look down the back of the sofa for any spare change, take all your ginger bottles back, sell all the furniture (and the house you used to keep it in) and start buying everything on the wish list. 2.33 engine, sequencial box, 18" buddy club wheels with p-zeros, carbon bodywork (painted matt black), 10 pots, stack dials etc, etc, etc. Oh, and a box of choccies for Imy if there's any cash left over.

power definitely gets my vote mate, although there is another option that you should consider - Tein coilovers, they are awesomeface-icon-small-happy.gifface-icon-small-wink.gif

<< Squirrel...you haven't said what suspension and brakes you are running. I know you left-foot brake so that gives a fair old strain on the stoppers so a set of 6 pots shouldn't go amiss. I reckon you have enough power for the open road so get the handling matched to the power for the ultimate buzz.

If you really want a buzz get the exhaust quieted down and go road rallying! Noise checks! >>

At the moment i am running std 2 pots ( face-icon-small-smile.gif ) with Ferodo pads and std STI suspension which gives a firm enough ride at the moment

Got my eye on a set of Brembo's that the owner is looking to upgrade.

Suspension wise i am looking at a set of Cusco and Powerflex bushes

Road rallying sounds good but i would have to bring the co-pilot up to scratch on which way the map should be facing....face-icon-small-smile.gif and silencing a Scoob is a treasonable offence.

Actually since posting the suggestion it seems that 4wd turbo cars are going to be banned from the road rallying in England and possibly Scotland. Too fast you see even with standard exhausts.

Acceleration, acceleration, acceleration. The ability to drive it like you have just stolen it 24/7. The shocked look on peoples faces who own cars worth 10 times what yours is worth as you rip past them,

The hundreds of man hours you have put into perfecting such works of art such as your air intake or your heat shield, and your ace driving tekniques such as subtle mouth foaming, leaning forward 130 before you know it acceleration or suicide cornering, all paying off as you realise the power you have always wanted.

Or fix a few bashes that give the squirrelmobile a bit of character.

You decide matey!!!

God bless you Callum

Years of practise to get to such a high level of foaming and the suicide technique comes from 350 miles a day round rural roads doing the Postman Pat thing.

The battle scar down the side does give it a bit of individuality.

Had a wee jive with a M3 on the Drymen road and it felt good when he kept on looking in the mirror and i was grinning back at him, now that i can grin with confidence.
