I have seen a blue impreza wagon in awd a few time getting things done to it.When i have been there with my impreza. Was yours in getting a front mount fitted a few months back and a few weeks back i was in on a saturday getting droplinks fitted and paddy was removing the manifold of a blue wagon classic

Yep

thats mine Pace front mount was fitted there along with VF 22,Apexi Boost controller & then up to Dundee where the Motec was mapped. Was going really well until i blew a blade on the VF 22 , Grant at AWD said it was a record for blowing a VF ( a damn expensive one ).And yeh recently the stainless headers were fitted at AWD.What do you guys drive see if ive seen anyone about.

Cheers

but you will always be a local boy. I am sure i can disassemble the Rhu Inn and send it through DHL

1.5 bar is pretty high for a VF22, probably the reason it threw a blade. What you changing it too?

Got a TDO5/20G on order from Andy Forrest through Grant at AWD along with a set of 550cc injectors and im thinking of selling my Motec M800 and getting an APEXI FC from Andy Forrest again.Only one or two people in Scotland i know of map Motecs.Sam Ellis in Dundee did mine.Did a really good job just a bit of a hike to get it done.Any thoughts Motec or Apexi ?

What a choice to have

Motec or PowerFC

Motec can operate more functions and is regarded as the pinnacle in mappable ECU's

PowerFC can be mapped by GOD and GOD stays in Edinburgh, well Port Seaton to be pedantic

6 of one, half a dozen of the other but as i say damn good choice to have.

Yeh good choice to have Grant. The Apexi appeals to me because of Andy Forrest.I have been told his maps are fantastic & my aim is to approach the 400 mark if possible.Got my Motec fitted at TSL Motorsport in Nottingham & talking to them lately they rank Andy as the best Apexi mapper in Britain. The Motec just seems to be a bit over kill but has proved to be a very reliable and very safe ECU to have.As you said a good choice but a hard one.Ill let you know i think its booked into AWD round about the 11th or 12th Aug.Wish it was sooner trying to keep it under 3000 rpm to stop whats left of the VF 22 from spooling up , not a nice sound at all.

Hi there

how you doin.Grants going to phone me when my TDO5/20G is ready from Andy F & hopefully squeeze me in before the 11TH before Andy comes up.Id love to get Andy to do a map on my car if i get a Power FC but still not sure what to do with my Motec.Keep or sell.If i had a serious offer for it i probably would sell it.See what happens. What sort of power hike do you get from an ecutek map ?
